A question for women.

Hello, I have depression (16 years) Fybromyalgia (1 year) I am in my early 30s with no intention of having children (any time in the near future, if at all). I wish to ask what method of contraception you folks may have used which has impacted the least on mood and pain. Keeping in mind my BMI is too high to be offered ‘the pill’ in any form.

I have had Nexplanon

Etonogestrel implants in my arm for six years and am required to replace it soon due to its expiry.

Thank you in advance.

I’ve had children I’m in my 30’s the copper coil is the best it’s non hormonal basically sperm doesn’t like copper. Ask your doc not sure if you’ve have to have had a child first though . Good luck
