Hydroxycarbomide and Neutropenia
His platelet counts are within a good range now (and red is fine) but his Neutrophils are super low and he has quite bad
neutropenia
due to the medicine. They are reducing his medicine a bit to see if it helps. Does anyone have experience of managing
neutropenia
?

Being super cold all the time and neutropenia and chronic pharyngitis
Hey guys It's been a while since I posted. Nothing major has happened but I still feel i am never ok. Skin remains well even if I got the tiniest bit of a tan line this summer despite all the cream I put on! But my throat issues remain. After being told it was not reflux, now they say it is (they reckon

Cabazitaxel versus Abiraterone or Enzalutamide in Metastatic Prostate Cancer

neutropenia
of grade 3 or higher that was observed in this trial (3.2%) was similar to that observed in the AFFINITY phase 3 trial (3%), which also allowed the use of prophylactic granulocyte colony-stimulating factor from cycle 1,

Severe reaction to FCR
Well, after one round it has been stopped as I had such a severe reaction to the treatment. 3 hospital stays for
neutropenia
and 1 hospital stay for such low red blood that I needed 3 blood transfusions.

Carboplatin and side effects
Did you get sepsis or
neutropenia
or any of the other things that assail people on this drug? Did it work, and how long for? I'd be glad to hear any of your experiences... Miriam

Ibrutinib and odd side effects
There are several other rather odd reactions happening which I have noticed in the literature which are due to Ibrutinib, the most recent of which is
Neutropenia
.

Neutropenia and Prolia
Has anyone got
Neutropenia
from using Prolia or heard about it. I have now got mild
Neutropenia
after one injection. Wondering if it is the Prolia. I am not going to have another injection.

Docetaxel vs Surveillance After Radical Radiotherapy for Intermediate- or High-Risk Prostate Cancer
Febrile
neutropenia
occurred in 16% of the docetaxel patients. No deaths were related to the docetaxel treatment. There were 43 deaths during the trial, including 20 in arm A and 23 in arm B, of which nine and seven, respectively, were due to PCa.

22 year old wondering if all my problems are thyroid related?
I am also still continually monitored for my fluctuating
neutropenia
- always below normal with my other white cells and low complement c3 - my consultant suspects I have an autoimmune disorder but according to a letter from the immunologist he contacted "no one at the hospital has an interest or knowledge

Switch from Ropinirole to Rotigotine
I have been taking Pregabalin as a nerve pain medication for awhile, but after a blood test it was discovered that Pregabalin had caused
Neutropenia
, (very low white blood cell count) and leaves you at the risk of infections.

Does Pernicious Anemia cause autoimmune markers in blood tests?
But as mentioned in previous posts I have been seeing a hematologist for a year for my recurring unexplained
neutropenia
. Last time I saw him was the first time I had knowledge of Pernicious Anemia and he was adamant I didn't have it but did say that my symptoms sounded autoimmune in nature.

GRAVES AND THYROTOXICOSIS : HEMATOLOGIC CHANGES
A relative lymphocytosis is frequently found in the peripheral blood due to
neutropenia
[364]. A relative and an absolute increase in the number of monocytes was noted years ago [365]. The monocyte count was between 10 and 15%; in only 2 of the 30 cases was it less than 10%.

Methotrexate and Tamoxifen anyone?
I have persistent
neutropenia
however and so whilst I am now back on it as of a month, my metho has only been recommended by my Rheumy for 10mg a pop. I have also started Tamoxifen and it is clear this is "potentiating" (as my Rheumy put it) the effect of reducing my neutrophils further.

I happened upon this clinical trial they are doing for the 5/2 dosing and it mentioned some things I've never heard before about WHY this may be more effective in stopping
neutropenia
, hope I spelled that right!
