Low ferritin question
Hi. Would be grateful for advice. My (adult) daughter had always suffered from anaemia to some extent. Last year her B12 came back at 119 and she had a course of injections. Recently she had been feeling weak, tired and with palpitations and tachycardia, so had blood tests. B12 was 300 and ferritin

Reducing levothyroxine and taking HRT
I would appreciate some thoughts on whether I should reduce my Levothyroxine from 125 daily to 125 x Mon-Fri and 100 x Sat/Sun to bring TSH up a little bit. GP has agreed to this and started me on HRT patch (Evorel Conti 50) to see if that helps with the aches and pains as she thinks thyroid is treated

Ferrous sulphate tablets 200mg - any advice much appreciated
Hi, I had my iron levels checked which came back as ferritin: 8 ug/L and given a prescription for ferrous sulphate 200mg. The box is saying to take 2-3 times a day on an empty stomach, or avoiding certain foods (milk, grains, tea, coffee) I'm pregnant and having extreme nausea and sickness, nibbling

New bloods - confused about iron study outcomes
Good afternoon Fabulous people – hoping for your wisdom again. I had new bloods on 10th June (8 week check on levo dosage). I knew that the NHS bloods wouldn’t test FT3 and FT4 (even though they were specifically requested on the form by the GP). I ordered a medichecks test to test these privately.

Mycophenolate mental side effects
Started again with one dose on Sunday, one Monday, and I'm climbing the walls and googling symptoms of
nervous
breakdown
... I had to stop hydroxychloroquine around a year ago because of similar symptoms.

New blood test results – need advice
Hello everyone, I am 35 years old, female with Hashimoto's. I take 150mcg levothyroxine and 25mcg liothyronine. Never before anxiety symptoms
I had a
nervous
breakdown
and took a leave and became a sub para. I was doing better and so I sub taught. Well I was triggered in a Special Ed classroom and my anxiety is back. Both times it has manifested in sleepless nights, and what I call body tingling.

Low iron levels
I have been put on Ferrous Sulphate tablets because my serum ferritin was only 11 (lower limit of normal is 15) It was picked up from a routine blood test but I have been even more fatigued than ever for some while now, had palpitations and I am naturally pale skinned. Does anyone know if this is a consequence

Tramadol Tolerance
I have had severe RLS for over 10 years, was initially on dopamine agonists (until I augmented!) and been on Tramadol (100mg/day) plus Gabapentin (1200mg/day) for over 8 years. My Ferritin level is usually about 75 so I am currently trying to raise it. I tried Bisglycinate for 3 months without any improvement
