My last lot of blood tests indicated my iron levels were low. Prescribed Ferrous fumarate and ferrous sulphate. When i do manage to go to the toilet, its black and most of the time its a struggle. Also i pass a dark watery fluid with wind. Is this normal?

I used to take iron supplement but it cased me constipation and it does turn your stool black. Here is a good article about it, hope they don't remove the link.
