Hello, I am a 49 year old who has dealt with anxiety, depression since I was a teen. I have managed for many years with exercise when I was younger and meds as I get older and exercise less. The last two years have been super stressful as I became a teacher and started remote teaching. I had a nervous breakdown and took a leave and became a sub para. I was doing better and so I sub taught. Well I was triggered in a Special Ed classroom and my anxiety is back. Both times it has manifested in sleepless nights, and what I call body tingling. I don’t know why it is manifesting like this since it never has before. I am currently on citalopram and Wellbutrin . Has anyone felt like this?

I have had both sleepless nights and that shock feeling like a tingling but, it is almost like you are being shocked like hearing bad news. My meds were not right when I don't sleep. That was me though, I don't know if maybe you could discuss it with your doctor, he might add something to help you sleep. Sleeping is huge with anxiety++ huge. I have suffered 40 years with it since childhood and know many people with it and quality& quantity of sleep is somehow related. I hope and pray you feel better.
