Side effects Cyclogest FET
Hi - I am on my 3rd FET cycle (1st successful & 2nd unsuccessful). I am taking the same drugs as other cycles but I seem to be feeling a lot more side effects from the cyclogest than I have before. I am feeling dizzy/lightheaded and nauseous this time round. This has happened as soon as I have added

How many DE FETs before BFP?
TTC for a sibling but experiencing secondary infertility due to low ovarian reserve. After unsuccessful rounds with my own eggs we’ve moved to DE and did our first DE FET this week. But I’m now panicking that it won’t work. The clinic told us that this donor’s eggs have led to a successful live birth

NHS Fundes IVF
Hi all, Just wondering if the NHS fund frozen embryo transfers? I’ve been on the NHS waiting list for a year + but went private for my first round. I have just been contacted by the NHS for an appointment in Jan 2024, but have frozen embryos with my private clinic as my first transferred sadly

FET - when to test?
Hi friends, I had a day 6 blastocyst transferred on Thurs 9th Nov (FET), my clinic have advised to test on Tues 21st but I’m finding it really tough! I have done a couple of tests the last two days - both BFN. I think I had some implantation bleeding on Weds 15th and quite strong cramps. No period

clinic doesn’t think progesterone levels are that important in a FET??
hello ladies, just trying to gauge if this is normal or not…. I am trying for a second baby and have moved clinics, and my specialist from clinic #1 also moved to clinic #2 which (I thought) would be handy. This is my second transfer with clinic #2 and we are doing a medicated cycle, replicating

Failed IVF
Hi All, I’m new this to group and was seeking some support/ advice. I have recently been given a negative pregnancy test after a good grades embryo was transferred and I am so devastated. How should I prepare myself for a frozen embryo transfer? Anyone able to relate? I’m really struggling emotionally

Hope for over 40 using Double Donor.
I am 42. Single. Low AMH. None responder to Egg retrieval stimulation drugs. Using Double Donor Blastocysts (3 left frozen. 2 used). I just wanted to hear some success stories from 40+ Double Donor FETs. I've had one and one negative FET. I believe that my remaining Blastocysts are day 6 ones. Any

Has anyone managed to claim a hysteroscopy on Private medical?
Hey lovely ladies, I hope everyone is ok xxx Following a recent failed FET 😢 I discussed with my consultant whether I should have another hysteroscopy. The consultant said my medical insurance provider may cover it as long as it’s not for fertility reasons. E.g. that my doctor thinks I might have

3rd time FET
So Yesterday was my OTD. (12dpt5dt) The result came back to me this morning and it is 150. The lady on the phone said it’s too low. Please can someone confirm that this is normal or average level? I’m waiting for my clinic to get back to me.

Foods to eat / avoid after embryo transfer?
Good evening all! I wondered if anyone has been told to avoid any particular foods after embryo transfer other than the usual soft cheese, alcohol and caffeine? I don’t eat meat but do eat fish and my other proteins tend to be soya based high protein yoghurts, nuts and seeds, cottage cheese, greek

Cyclogest and Lubion
Hello my fellow warriors So I am starting lubion and cyclogest tomorrow for a FET next Tuesday. My clinic has recommended every 12 hours for the meds. I am out Saturday and just wondering if it is feasible to take these meds when out and about, particularly the cyclogest pessary as I remember from

Starting FET meds abroad in a different timezone
Sorry for the long post, please bear with me...I've had some real issues starting my frozen embryo transfer - my last own embryo before moving to donor. I started FET meds in September (had prostap the previous month) but did not make it to transfer. The lining was breaking down and I was spotting,

Natural cycle FET, low basal body temperature after trigger shot
Hi everyone, I'm doing a modified natural cycle FET, and on Day 21 the clinic instructed me to inject Ovitrelle (trigger) at night after confirming a dominant follicle of 15mm and endometrial lining 8mm. I have been taking my basal body temperature and there has not been any spike neither yesterday

Nerve block for wrist surgery
Just wondering if anyone has had experience of an operation under Nerve Block as opposed to General Anaesthetic. I have just had a plate put in my wrist due to a fall and besides it being the worst experience of my life, my Fibromyalgia has drastically worsened. Wondering if I should have opted for General

New FDA approved therapy (fingers crossed!)
Dear fellow RLS sufferers: My Kaiser doc informed me that there is a new device just coming to market for RLS. It has been approved by the FDA for mod-severe RLS, and is currently available in three states, CA being one. The machine is called the NXT 100 ToMAC, and it is somewhat similar to TENS.

Single or double FET?
I'm unsure if the clinic will even allow me to choose as I think they mainly base this decision on age and quality of embryos. Would still be interested in others opinions/experiences though if they do allow me to choose. This will be FET # 4, with my first three transfers (all 5AA) all ending in miscarriages
