Frozen DE treatment cycle different to FET with OE
Hello All, I think I’m missing something obvious but can anyone explain why a frozen DE treatment cycle plans the transfer for day 22-24 while both my FETs have been transferred on day 17 ish? I’m anxious because after a mmc with my last FET, I hope this was a sign of receptivity at 17 day mark and

Promotion and IVF, should I do a freeze all?
I’m in the process of a brand new fresh cycle. I’m due to start in the next few weeks, and incidentally, I was offered a promotion which I accepted without hesitation. I officially begin my new role in the next few weeks as well, and I’d like to go ahead with my cycle anyway because of my age (41) and

Progesterone levels?
Hi all, I seem to have become a serial poster of late and I really appreciate the responses. I'm struggling to find info about what Progesterone levels should be on embryo transfer and then going forward. I had a day 3 fresh ET and apparently my progesterone levels were 395 nmol/l on that day. It's now

FAKE ADVERTISING for vitamins "MADE IN USA" on Amazon!

Tendon ruptures in hand due to long-term RA
I'm 67 and things have reached a chronic stage in my left, dominant hand due to several tendon ruptures affecting middle and ring fingers, which I can no longer extend. I'm now on the Orthopaedic surgeon's operating list, but I am very scared about how I will cope post-operatively, since I already have

Sitagliptin
Has anyone ever been prescribed sitagliptin for recurrent implantation failure? I had a biopsy in Coventry (Dr Brosens) as we’ve had 3 failed transfers with top embryos and it has shown results which are more in keeping with recurrent miscarriages (which I’ve never had, never had a positive test) rather

Varicocele treatment - surgery or embolisation?
Hello all! So we're currently have ICSI due to unexplained infertility, with possible mild male factor due to borderline-low motility and morphology. My partner recently saw a urologist who has diagnosed a varicocele (big thanks to people on this forum for suggesting we check this out!). The urologist

Hi, I have just had a medicated FET. I am on day 5 of my two week wait. I have had two embryos inserted this time, after having one success 3 years ago (my little boy is now 2) and one failed FET earlier this year. I have started to get waves of nausea, slight pelvic cramps and also tiny white

Bloating Tips
I am truly grateful to be BFP and have my first scan tomorrow but I’m currently really struggling with the bloating. It starts to get really bad from lunchtime and only really eases again by the next morning. When incidentally I get morning sickness! As the morning sickness goes, the bloating kicks in

Success with poorer grade day 5 blastocysts for women 40 years old
I only have one good IVF IMSI cycle at 40 years old. I recently had a missed miscarriage with a double transfer of two good day 5 blastocyst grades of 6B+B+ and 6B+B-. One stuck but miscarried at 8w. I have 5 day 5 blastocysts left but the grades are not as good. I have one 6B+B-, 3x 6B-B- and one

NHS wait time question
I understand that no one can answer this question totally accurately but I wondered what people’s wait times between cycles has generally been on the nhs for first-second transfer? Our wait time from first hospital consult to embryo transfer was initially 8 months. Our next cycle doesn’t involve an egg

Tips to manage embryo transfer phase
Hi my great family, The long wait will be over this week as my transfer day 5 has been scheduled. I produced 11eggs, 8 matured, 5 got fertilized via ICSI. I had mild lower abdomen cramp, which I kept drinking lot of water and it got better. Currently I am not feeling the lower abdomen cramp like before
