I'm doing a modified natural cycle FET, and on Day 21 the clinic instructed me to inject Ovitrelle (trigger) at night after confirming a dominant follicle of 15mm and endometrial lining 8mm.
I have been taking my basal body temperature and there has not been any spike neither yesterday or this morning.
Is this normal?

hello! I was told after trigger shots that I would ovulate roughly 36 hours later (but could be a bit more or less), so if it’s less than 36 hours since the shot then you may well have not ovulated yet, and I’m aware it can then take an additional day or so to notice the rise in temperature. I’ve also read somewhere that trigger shots can delay or interfere with the natural BBT rise.
Hopefully it’s all worked fine with you as I’ve also panicked after trigger shots (for timed intercourse cycles) and been told that it’s very rare that it fails. Maybe get in touch with the clinic for that extra bit of reassurance! X
I'd forgotten to mention that trigger was on Saturday so I was supposed to ovulate Monday morning(yesterday). It's now been 24 hours past the intended ovulation (60 hours from the trigger).
I've contacted my doctor, hopefully I get some reassurance from her!
Oh I see! I hope they get back soon. I get how frustrating it is waiting and expecting your body to do something and then it not behaving. Best of luck
