GON Block

I think I started to notice Tinnitus more after having the GON Block (greater Occipital Nerve Block), for migraine.

recently I have had to start taking antidepressants and Propranalol because of a major change in job roles.

I really don’t know what has triggered near constant Tinnitus, feel like fizzing in the back of my throat and is slightly louder when I swallow.

can also be a 10,000 MHz tone feels mostly in my left ear bt does appear to be both too.

has anyone else had GON blocks? Has Tinnitus developed since having it?

my tinnitus increases in tone when I press on my lesser occipital nerve and also my trigeminal nerve. What antidepressants are you on? Tinnitus is a known side effect of them. I’ve also taken Propranalol and it didn’t effect my tinnitus at all.

Tinnitus was present before antidepressants but taking Escitalpram. No change when pressing on the nerves for me

Did your increase in tinnitus coincide with you taking the antidepressants?
