Taking Metavive ii to replace NatureThroid but...
Hi all. I'm feeling ill and need to help myself fast. I'm a long, boring complex case though. That's the only catch. Diagnosed by the lovely Dr P a good few years ago. Was severely hypo. Bedridden most of the day. Started NatureThroid under his guidance, upped nutrients, slowly recovered, and dozens

NEED SOME ADVICE
Hi all, Hope you’re all having a safe holiday season. This is what I’m doing, trying to wean off Synthroid & cytomel to transition to NDT. I was on Synthroid 100+5cytomel. I started by dropping the cytomel and taking 87.5 Synthroid, adding 30 mg thyroid. Stayed on that for two weeks, then 75 mcg Synthroid

Cytomel/cynomel/tiromel - help please!
I have been on cytomel (NHS script) for over 15 years and suddenly it is impossible to get in the UK any more. Can anyone tell me where I can get an equivalent either via NHS or privately or online. Teva, Mercury Pharma make me ill. As soon as it's possible I am happy to travel to buy it also. Pretty

A Thyroid Mess
I have posted on here recently concerning my erratic behavior, con-cerning my dosing and (re)dosing the same doses of thyroid medications over the past year or so. I was so mixed up and stymied over my thyroid situation that I just sensed a crisis of unknown proportions that I would never figure out

Zeroing in on optimal dose of Synthroid/Cytomel combination.
I've been tinkering with different thyroid drugs & doses since the NP Thyroid went sideways in March 2020. I think I'm close to my optimal dose and the good news is that the RT3 decreased from 32.5 to 23.8 mg/dL. Current dose: 112 mcg Synthroid & 20 mcg Cytomel. Background is that I had a full thyroidectomy

Endo gave me a med increase ?
Need advice on taking my meds ... currently Im taking 100mcg levo plus and extra 50mcg per week along with 10mcg Cytomel. My Endo agreed to another meds increase Cytomel this time and extra 5mcg per day . I split the EXTRA 50mcg levo throughout the week, if I remember! Current meds schedule: 4:15am

Cytomel or NDT
Cytomel or NDT? I was prescribed 25mcg of cytomel by a previous functional doctor. Since I am not using this doctor anymore, I wondered if NDT is a better replacement of cytomel? Also, if metavive is the best form of NDT? And finally, if there was a 1:1 ratio between the dosage of cytomel and metavive

T3 and calcium supplements?
Added T3 two weeks ago and now I’m increasing my cytomel ( T3) from 1x0,25 mg to 2x0,25. The question is when to take the second dose with all my supplements. Have hypocalcemia since my TT 6 years ago so I have to take it. Here is my schedule: 6 am- levithyroxine 100/75 mcg + 0,25 cytomel 10 am magnesium

Should I decrease Levo after first week with t3? Lab results
Had Graves and total total thyroidectomy 2014. Was on 100 Levo and felt ok ( maybe oversubscribed with Tsh 0,5 and t4 always in the upper end) until 2 years ago when I had a lot of stomach issues due to stress and anxiety. Now when I supplement with betaine hcl and digestive enzymes it’s so much better

Can't Find Accurate Description of Liothyronine (T3)
Yikes! I have been searching on Google for an accurate description of the drug liothyronine. So far, nearly all of the sites describe it this way: "Liothyronine is a man-made form of a hormone that is normally produced by your thyroid gland to regulate the body's energy and metabolism. Liothyronine

Cynomel 0.025 mg is ok to start with after slow T3?
Hi, I have finished taking slow T3 after 3 months along with my Levo 150 mg. The effect was good but not good enough. Since I can only get it privately and the cost is very high, my doc prescribed me with Cynomel (Sanofi) 0.025 mg to start with half a pill for 3 days and increase slowly. I guess my questions
