Bovine thyroid supplements
Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone has good experiences with bovine thyroid supplements from new zealand. After changing from armour (which worked perfectly) to erfa (not so good for me) to synthetic L thyroxine and cytomel, I gained a lot of weight. Would novothyral be better? I have a new orthomelcular

Fast heartbeat - palpitations
I am hypo thyroid and Hoshi Been taking 50 mcg of Levo/ synthroid and 5 mcg of cytomel t3 since April, 30 after switching from Armour thyroid. Since last night I have been having palpitations on and off. For few hours then stops. Is this related to hypothyroidism? Labs due on August 31, one week Thanks

Who is up for solving this thyroid/perimenopausal puzzle?! I desperately need some help! 🙏🏻
I have Hashimotos which was diagnosed about 5 years ago. I started on Levo and after increasing my dosage, I felt worse. A friend of mine with Hashimotos suggested that I probably was not converting T4 to T3 and could try to take NDT because of the T3 in it. Luckily I found a doctor who prescribed it

Thyroid blood test
I am scheduled to have a fasting blood test by my gp, I am going to combine my thyroid blood test too. My endo says that Levothyroxine/ synthroid 50 mcg taken in the am @ 7 am should not effect my labs and to skip Liithyronine/ cytomel 5 mg till after the test. Usually I have my blood tested @3 pm after

Hypo with POF, severe hair loss and scalp pain
I’ve had severe hair loss since being diagnosed with Hypo since 2016. I’ve tried various doses and thyroid medicines which include Synthyroid, Nature-throid, Cytomel, and Tirosint. I introduced the last three medicines in mid-2018. Once I started Nature-throid my eyelashes started coming out. I’ve

Negative Interaction effects of T4 with T3 yet I do need both
I have recently gone off NDT- ERFA because I swear I had a bad batch or something changed in the formula -although the manufacturer in Canada denies both possibilities. So now I am trying to balance new meds- Euthyrox T4and Cytomel T3. My blood test now shows that I have a normal T4- 14 a very low TSH

Just recieved my most recent thyroid, Iron and Vitamin D tests. Before anyone comments about thyroid test (FT3 was not tested) can't get Endo to think it's relevant... "sigh"! For those who don't know me I've been thyroid-less (cancer) since 10/2016 and developed debilitating Psoriatic Arthritis

Should I be concerned?
Ok, I’m not sure if I’m being overly paranoid or maybe just maybe something is off. I currently take 100mcg Synthyroid and 10mcg Cytomel. I had a blood test done back in February it was a (surprise) blood test that took place 2 hours after I had taken my last dose of Synthyroid and Cytomel. I’m scheduled

What could have changed with t3?
I posted before but I think I posted my question wrong. About 8 months ago, Doctor took me from NP thyroid on to tirosint and cytomel (liothyronine). I felt absolutely amazing for the first couple of months. I had energy to do errands, work and get things done. All of a sudden a few months in, I started

Could someone PM me the list of current T3 suppliers?
I used up the last of my Tiromel and started on UniPharma, and it's so weak... I feel like I used to when I would accidentally miss a dose - but I'm not! I've tried most types over the years and got on with all of them except this current one (pink/red packaging). Does anyone have a supplier of Cytomel

Cytomel generic
After 18 days I stopped taking 5mcg of Liothyronine bc I was having all kinds of side effects (hyper like) of taking to much and it was all day/evening long. I was also taking 150mcg compounded levo and this wasn’t reduced. Doc rx’d Liothyronine bc tt3 was one point under range (but would be in range

Dosage Up - FT3 Down
OK, I am having problems understanding my most recent test results (which puts me in good company on here.) ;-) The only thing that changed with dosage is that I began taking a full 25 mcg tablet of Cytomel because I was having problems cutting them up evenly. To my surprise, although FT4 remained

My blood test- TSH low
My blood test done after lunch as requested by dr. Took my levothyroxine 30 mcg and cytomel 5 mcg at 7 am, blood test at 2:30 pm. My triglycerides little high, slight anemic. Tsh is very low 0.12 range- 0.40-4.50. Dr suggest cutting back on cytomel to half. I plan to take cytomel 5 mcg for days only

Adding NDT and dropping Cytomel
Hello everyone, Hope you’re all hanging in and staying the course. I’m looking for advice again. I presently take Synthroid 100 + cytomel 10mcg. (6-7am) I’m still having symptoms ( daily headaches, weight gain, hair loss). Since my thyroidectomy almost three years ago, my levels have not been optimal

Please help me. I have nowhere to turn and I need help.
Hi, I need help. 3 years I was a perfectly healthy woman or so I thought. I started getting neck pain and went to the doctor. After a minor examination of my neck the GP said I had a huge thyroid. I had no idea what that meant so she sent me for an ultrasound and low and behold I had a 9cm mass
