Thyroiditis finally won. Just thankful I have a Doctor that is willing to treat it.
Hi. I have always been athletic, and outdoorsy when given the opportunity. Had a weird kidney issue causing chronic kidney failure, eventually having the left kidney on top of my right leg removed (yes, you read that correctly). Had trouble with doctors and constant health insurance changes in getting

How to split T3 from 2 to 3 dosages, and withdraw from adrenal support?
Hi everyone, I need help. Already for couple of months I am trying to fine tune cytomel and Adrenovive (adrenal supplements). I took them together for 3 years and it was not ideal but not super bad like right now. Right now I see it as my goal to withdraw from adrenal supplements completely because when

Help with Lab Results
I am on 137 mcg Tirosint (taken 24 hours before labs) and 20 mcg Cytomel ( 5 mcg taken12 hours before labs). I stopped the B12 a week before the labs. I'm not sure why the lab did not test Ferritin. I think iron labs look low. D is adequate. B12 could go up a bit. I take the Thorne Iron Bisglycinate

Gluten free T3 medication?
Does anyone know if Cytomel is gluten free? I’m contacting Mayne Pharma and Greenstone Pharmacy, both of which manufacture liothyronine, as well. I’m having a very hard time getting answers. I have celiac disease and need to make sure my T3 medication is gluten free. Thank you for any input! Sarah

Reduce on Levo and Anxiety
Hello, to everyone! About a month ago I wrote a post since my doctor had withdrawn Cytomel due to the suppressed TSH, but on February 1 that I had my new appointment I told him that I had felt bad again. When I was on 100mcg Levo and 12.5mcg Lio I was feeling so good, as you can see in the results of

IF the TSH is suppressed for many years due to thyroid medication, will it stay suppressed even if you cut back on thyroid meds?
My TSH has been suppressed for decades, but I only felt decent with that level of medication. In the past several years I have felt well enough to cut back on Cytomel (this was not easy), but my TSH has continued to drop anyway. On this forum I have seen some say that if the TSH has been suppressed

Different lab results on Same dose. Conflicting free assays.
I want to start out by saying greygoose has been very helpful to me and without her, I probably wouldn’t be posting this... and have added a small dose of cytomel to my current T4 dose as per her advice.. But can anyone give some insight as to why my free T3 is out of range at one lab and in range at

Made a thyroid mistake
I have been on levothyroxine capsule and cytomel. I can say the past 2 years that I had a high tsh. I am off cytomel and just on levothyroxine capsule and I am waiting for my body to transfer t4 to t3. I feel dumb, miserable, wreckless. Everything is missed up, and my life is messed up.

In need of Cytomel T3
Hey! I’ve taken Cytomel for many years and it’s been very helpful. Right now I don’t have insurance so to go to the dr, then blood work then go back ect is quite the expense. If someone can inbox me a reliable place to purchase T3 I’d really appreciate that. I’ve tried in the past and some places have

Blood test results 'normal' range
Can anyone comment on my recent test results... TSH 2.14 (0.27 - 4.2) T3 4.3 (3.1 - 6.8) Free T4 12.4 (12 - 22) TPO 0.18 (0 - 60 = negative) TSH receptor antibody < 1.5 (0 - 3) Looking online it seems I have Graves and hypothyroidism?? I feel best when my TSH is around 0.5. To me the results show

My doctor wants to reduce my t4 in half.
I have recently took labs my tsh is 0.19 and t3 is 4.3. I take tirosint 50mcg (levothyroxine capsule) and cytomel 5mcg. She wants to reduce my dosage to 25mcg and keep the cytomel 5mcg. She said on the former thyroid dosage I was hyperthyroid and I wanted to know if my body would adjust. Did anyone here
