Cytomel (as in Pfizer/King Cytomel) is actually manufactured in Germany - though that is a USA branding.
Could you change to Thybon Henning from a German pharmacy? It is in 20 microgram tablets, rather than 25.
Or could your pharmacy contact Ace Pharma in the Netherlands? They produce their own version of Cytomel (it is a different formulation to Pfizer/King). I think it is less expensive. They do not deal with individuals - only pharmacies and hospitals.
Unfortunately my doctor does not recommend Thybon, she says that Thybon is not an option for me. She doesn't really explain why.I also took Erfa in the past but it doesn't really work for me.
I am also not sure whether the pharmacy in Belgium would contact Ace Pharma in the Netherlands.
Are there any T3 options that you know of and that are not so expensive? I really appreciate your feedback.
The least expensive T3 I know of is from Greece (Uni-Pharma) or Turkey (Tiromel). But I have never heard of anyone getting them mail order with a prescription.
I think your doctor should explain why she thinks Thybon Henning would be worse than nothing - because that is what the options might be.
Why not try a pharmacy in Portugal? They can contact Ace as easily as anyone.
By the way, Pfizer/King Cytomel and Sanofi Cynomel are differently formulated. I suspect the chances of you getting on well, or not, with any particular formulation are similar.
