Stress - thyroid weight connection
I’m on levo + cytomel for a year and feel ok if I stick to a healthy , mostly glutenfree diet. But I notice that when I go through periods of high stress my weight goes up suddenly and my body seems to swell overnight. I find it really strange, never had that before. Is there an explanation ?

I'll just leave this here for those interested. Google "mexican cytomel 100 tabs" - no prescription required and reliable.

Are Endocrinologists So Stupid?
Folks! I am in Ottawa, Canada. Had another appointment with my Endo. Seriously, I am beyond frustrated, like many of you. So.... I have Hashi's. I see this Endo every 3 months. The Endo said I am ok, get that ok. Total bunk folks. I am on the following meds: Synthroid - 50 mg Cytomel - 5 mcg

Post MD meeting - thank you for your support!
Between the support of several folks here and having a great doctor, I now have a prescription for 4 months for the same amount of Synthroid (25 mcg) and 1/2 x 25 mcg Cytomel per day. My doctor agreed about keeping the dose the same (5 mcg Cytomel x 2 -- divided in 3 doses), BUT he thinks it makes

New Thyroid Lab Results as % of Reference Range — comments please
I just ran my new labs through a thyroid calculator and I am meeting with my doctor tomorrow morning. I would like to increase my Cytomel by taking 1/ 4 of 25 mcg pill 3 times per day, rather than adding an extra 5 mcg Cytomel (currently taking 2 ) while keeping Synthroid the same, at 0.75 mcg.

The effect of T3 on FT4 / hairloss
I think I read somewhere here that taking T3 will lower your ft4 is that correct? I am on 75mcg levo and added 6mcg cytomel last week. I have more energy, but my hair seems to fall out again since i started the T3. My hairloss started on 50mcg levo and ended when I was on 75mcg levo(+ iron supplement

High Blood Pressure (Hypertension) - Hypothyroidism
Hi everyone, Does anyone have experience with being hypo having high blood pressure. I am a 45 year old male - I am in pretty good shape. Exercise everyday and eat pretty healthy. I finally got my thyroid within range. I kinda neglected (only looked at tsh) it for the last couple of years.

Thyroid Hormone Change Armour Thyroid to Tirosint/Cytomel
Hello, I recently requested to switch from Armour Thyroid 3 grains to a Tirosint Cytomel combination so that I have more flexibility with T4/T3 ratios. I was proposing Tirosint 137 mcg and Cytomel 10-15 mcg and redoing labs in 6-8 weeks. The CRNP switched my dose to Tirosint 112 mcg + Cytomel 10 mcg

Cytomel Ace Liothyronine
I’ve been doing great on Cytomel Ace and Sigma pharm but recently it’s very hard to get hold of in the U.K. does anyone know U.K. pharmacy’s that sell 25.mcg of Cytomel Ace. I have lactose and gluten intolerance so this is the only one I can tolerate. Many thanks :)

British National Formulary - Confusion
In the British National Formulary, there is a section for each medicine headed Medicinal Forms. You can see below that the lists start with the heading All products. However, this is just plain misleading! The first five entries are all for 12.5 microgram levothyroxine tablets. But
