Cytomel Ace Liothyronine

I’ve been doing great on Cytomel Ace and Sigma pharm but recently it’s very hard to get hold of in the U.K. does anyone know U.K. pharmacy’s that sell 25.mcg of Cytomel Ace. I have lactose and gluten intolerance so this is the only one I can tolerate. Many thanks

Ace Cytomel could be acquired by any pharmacy, so far as I am aware, if they are willing to put the effort in. (Not sure what it would cost them.) But it would need to be prescribed properly.

But there are four UK-licensed liothyronine lines in the UK that do not have any lactose. And none has gluten (according to official statements).

Best of luck. The only issue I remember is one member who cannot tolerate the gelatin of the capsules. But even that might be avoidable as the Patient Information Leaflet says you can tip out the contents!

The Thyroid UK website lists pharmacies which many of us use. Here's the list

The list shows which ones can dispense NHS prescriptions. Ring round and see who can supply the brand you want.
