Hello everyone, I live in the US and I am 70 yrs old. Taking T4 (unithroid) 88 mcg and Cytomel 35 mcg split ((25 mcg at midnight and 10 mcg at 1 pm. )) I followed the protocol used on this site before getting tested. ie. no Biotin 7 days, wait 8-12 hrs after taking T3, etc etc.
My results as of Jan 1, 2023;
TSH .005 --- (Range is 0.45 to 4.50)
My last TSH test of March, 2022 was also .005
My gp said it was way too low and I should stop meds
T4 Free, direct 1.25 ---- (Range is .82 to 1.77)
My last T4, free of March 2022 was 1.32
T3 4.2 --- (Range is 2.0 to 4.4)
My last T3 Free of March 2022 was 2.6
So my TSH is going way down and doesnot seem to move. I get concerned of the very low number. Also the T4 is going down. Is this normal? I feel fine most everyday, fairly good energy, and my hair is not falling out anymore. I have no fast heart beat, or high blood pressure or any symptoms of hyerthyroid. I have not lost weight.
I am still always cold and my body temp usually is 35.4 to 35.7 cellisus every day which is low.
I welcome any feedback about the results, low TSH, and whether I should try adjusting T3 to lower amounts.
Thanks.
