Feeling significantly better on ldn
Out of desperation, I started a new therapy, low dose naltrexone. This is used in high amounts to reduce opioid cravings. Apparently it can be used in much smaller doses to treat chronic pain. It binds to the opioid receptors, and creates natural endorphins. I was skeptical, but OMG it works!!!! Last

low dose naltrexone for CREST with Raynaud's and IBD?
Hello. Does anyone else have IBD and CREST? Technically, my GI doctor said it looks like I have "mild Crohn's activity", although there's a slight chance the small intestine inflammation could be due to SIBO. Not sure what the mild gastritis is due to, if not IBD (I don't do/use any of the gastritis

Petrified of SSRI and sexual side effects
Hi, this post may be more damaging than good, but I want a variety of responses...so, my doctor is trying to put me on Lexapro 10mg for anxiety. I've had a rough few months and things seem to keep piling on. I tried bupropion 150mg XL and it drove me up a wall after 5 days and I had two major panic attacks

Is anyone else doing this?
I am taking Naltrexone for alcohol dependence. As such I am not on LDN. but on 50mg. I do not take them everyday, just only when I am going to drink. I am using the Sinclair Method. After I solve the alcohol dependence problem I will divide the remaining tablets into 1/8th's to make them LDN though high

Has anyone been on naltrexone for alcohol cravings?
My psychiatrist prescribed naltrexone to curb my alcohol cravings. I just read that it block serotonin and dopamine.“” That seems like it wouldn’t be good for someone suffering depression. The page I was reading also said that one of the side effects of drinking while on naltrexone was depression. Does

So I Saw My Psychiatrist Today
Sorry if this is really rambling… and doesn't really have a point or question... I had my scheduled monthly appointment with my psychiatrist today. This was after having a really bad episode back on Sunday. He upped my dosage of Abilify. He also recommended that I seek therapy at a county-sponsored

where can i buy naltrexone
Hi, could anyone PM me regarding a reputable website where I can buy naltrexone so I can make my own LDN, as I know other people have been doing this. I understand this is not the safest way to go about things but my GP is not leaving me with any other choice as I have been begging him for over 3 years

Wellbutrin/bupropion?
I took SSRs for about 10 years before I switched over to bupropion. I since learned SSRs increase RLS symptoms, but at the time I switched because of adverse sexual side effects. In any case, bupropion works by increasing the brains capacity to absorb dopamine. I have been taking it in the morning

Hopeless...nothing will get better
Hi everyone. I have been a long time sufferer of depression and anxiety (both diagnosed, and treated with meds and psychotherapy). I'm a 47 year old man, married over 20 years, and the only thing that makes my life worth living anymore is my 11 year old daughter, that I love more than life itself. I'm

Anxiety and depression
Hi, My therapist recommended I joined a support group for anxiety and depression. Long story short, I've dealt with anxiety since as long as I can remember, though at the time I did not know something was "wrong" with me. Anxiety showed up during my childhood, adolescence and now adulthood in eating

Methylphenidate Good First-Choice Pediatric ADHD Drug
I found this article very interesting & thought I'd share. Granted, if you found a medication strategy that works for you, definitely don't change it, as it really varies from person to person. https://www.psychiatryadvisor.com/adhd/methylphenidate-good-first-choice-pediatric-adhd-drug/article/789207

Low dose naltrexone
I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience taking LDN. I believe I remember monkeybus taking it a couple years ago, but never heard any results. This is the next thing my doctors want me to trial for neuropathic pain. I've read that it may have some benefits for fatigue, as well, which would be awesome

Hello all, as far as I know I’m healthy and well despite drinking around 70 units of alcohol a week up until last year when I decided to lose weight and change to a healthier lifestyle. This along with gym/cardio saw a 20kg weught loss, and if I say so myself I am now very fit. However, the alcohol intake
