LDN questions

Hi all -- Firstly, I have read everything on this site and my questions have not been addressed. My current regimen, and one that I've taken for years, is tramadol and gabapentin. I take 1800 mgs of gabapentin daily, divided into 3 doses and 200-400 mgs of tramadol - rarely more. - once or twice a day. I have been taking gabapentin for over 30 years -- originally prescribed for nerve pain. And tramadol for about a dozen years. As some are aware, I live in Mexico and have very recently become aware of a physician here who will prescribe naltrexone . (Getting opiods here is impossible and the only methadone clinic is a 2 day drive from me. ) And I have received instructions on mixing the naltrexone to a solution of 1 mg/ml. I am concerned about long term use of tramadol causing liver damage and I'm looking for allternatives. My question is how do I go about making the switch? I'd like to continue the gabapentin, although on a lower dose. I understand the naltrexone makes tramadol much less effective, but do I continue on it while titrating to an effective dose of naltrexone -probably 4.5 mgs. Thanks for bearing with me on this rather long-winded post.

I only know of ONE person on here who switched from Oxycontin to LDN.She said she used micro doses of LDN to reduce 30mg Oxycontin. I don't know what micro dose she used though.

Once off 30mg Oxycontin- she then increased LDN to 4.5mg.

I suggest you look for LDN help groups as they will be more likely to know how to help you get off tramadol.
