What else do you do to ward off illness? LDN would come way down my list of recommendations.

LDN, which I take regulates the immune system, useful for autoimmune stuff but I'm not aware it strengthens it. Zinc, vitamin C and D more spring to mind or herbs like Echinacea.

Hi, my mother brought me up with the knowledge that it was helpful to not worry about a little dirt and germs (she never observed sell by or use by) to help boost our immune systems. I do this to this day and know that it has kept my immune system strong and very responsive. My son has also been exposed to this diet and is very rarely ill. However, there are many germs and viruses that are in circulation and it is hard to avoid every one. There are supplements etc that say they will help, but do beware and do your research when taking as some can negate the effectiveness and or absorption of others, especially if your stomach acid is on the low side. One thing I can say that helps is exercise, reducing inflammation (esp cutting down alcohol/smoking) and having a positive outlook/boosting your wellbeing. Wishing you an illness free winter!

For the first time I have made homemade elderberry syrup for my family to take this winter. So far we are very impressed with the results. It was easy to make, however I’d missed elderberry season, so had to purchase berries online which were relatively expensive, plus raw honey at around £9 a jar.

I've been using LDN for 30 years and find it helps my fibromyalgia/CFS. Every so often I read that LDN helps this or that. I haven't been ill for quite a while. Maybe that's due to or partly due to my using LDN.

~I'm back taking LDN 0.5mg for my various a/i issues. LDN made at a cost to me having very sensitive gut by compounding company. It is made to break down in large bowel + in an acid-resistant capsule leaving gut untouched.

Previously tried 7 years ago and had nausea - this time OK.

I will try anything to help reduce steroids of 11+ years.

Worth enquiring/further research to ask a knowledgeable Holistic GP

Good luck~
