Time lapse monitoring vs PGS or both.
I had egg collection yesterday (17 eggs) and Hysteroscopic
Myomectomy
(Fibroids removal) at the same time and feel surprisingly fine except for some bearable cramps which are responding well to my hot water bottle.

Myomectomy laparoscopic not available at one NHS hospital can I choose to be treated elsewhere?
As I still wish to have children a
Myomectomy
has been recommended but I have been told at my NHS hospital that the surgical team do not have the expertise to perform a laparoscopic
myomectomy
so it will have to be open surgery.

Reoccuring pain after excision
I had excision surgery and a
myomectomy
to remove two large fibroids in November and I recovered really well post surgery. I had three periods in quick succession but they were all much lighter, shorter and less painful than previously.

Coming off decapeptyl
I've had two 3 monthly injections of this to shrink fibroids and to stop periods after a
myomectomy
. I'm in week 11 of the second injection and feel pretty awful. Emotional, moody and not sleeping well at all. Does anyone else have experience of coming off this? Thanks

Zoladex injections.. what can I expect?
I am on the list on the NHS for a
myomectomy
in Jan 2017 and I am about to start 3 months of zoladex injections. I'm scared of side effects especially as I am on a weight loss journey. Feeling quite down about it all. Any help? Tips? Gratefully received

Bleeding 6wks after myomectomy
I have an open
myomectomy
almost 7 weeks ago and started doing long walks in the last 2 weeks and went back to the gym twice this week. I wondered if I was doing a bit much going to the gym but at the time, it felt so good being active again.

Post surgery fatigue
I had a large fibroid removed 6 weeks ago via an open
myomectomy
and have been recovering fairly well. As well as this, I have endometriosis which is being managed. My major issue isn't the pain, it's the fatigue.

Pain returning
Hi all, I had my laparoscopy to remove endo in April and a
myomectomy
to remove a large fibroid 4 weeks ago. I came off the pill which was prescribed to keep my endo at bay for the last 3 weeks as I couldn't get to the GP due to the op.

Open myomectomy experience
Hi all. I had a 12cm fibroid removed on Monday and before I did, I was looking for articles and personal experiences on what to expect. I found some but I like lots of detail so I thought I'd write this in case anyone else is in the same situation in future and needs another perspective. The fibroid

Laparoscopy and myomectomy
On Thursday 2nd June I've finally been booked in for a laparoscopy and
myomectomy
, day case. I've been suffering with constant bladder discomfort since Nov 15 and I've always suffered with heavy and very painful periods.

Anyone had a myomectomy?
Hi all, has anyone had a
myomectomy
? I've had endo removed and they've found a 13cm fibroid which will cause problems with a pregnancy which we hope for post recovery so the consultant will be removing it in June.

I am frustrated
After trying to conceive for a long time and undergoing
myomectomy
twice, a HSG test done this January shows that my falopian tubes are blocked. That i should opt for IVF. Are there any other options for me?

Has anyone had a Myomectomy? (removal of only fibroid)
Hi, I recently posted a question about hysterectomy and received a number of kind responses. I decided against having a hysterectomy. Today I went to a nice gynecologist because I am having unexplained itchiness and soreness in vagina that is not obvious yeast or anything else. It could be from aging

Over 40 when you give birth?
C-section will re damage scar tissue from multiple
myomectomy
and could leave me with more adhesions and prolong chronic pelvic pain - this time with a newborn to look after.

12wks Now I know what happens when you're pregnant with adhesions!!
Anyways, I now have a better understanding - because of
myomectomy
and adhesions my uterus is "trapped" down low in my pelvis still.

Pregnancy with uterine adhesions
After 10 years of trying to get pregnant, a multiple
myomectomy
and post op laproscopy to sort out adhesions, the back of my uterus has adhered to my large bowel.
