Hi all, I had my laparoscopy to remove endo in April and a myomectomy to remove a large fibroid 4 weeks ago. I came off the pill which was prescribed to keep my endo at bay for the last 3 weeks as I couldn't get to the GP due to the op. Apart from the pain from my op, my hip, back and pelvic pain has started to come back in the last few days. I'm seeing my gynaecologist on Thursday but I wanted to ask if anyone found that endo can come back in such a short time ie. 3-4 weeks? im back on the pill now which I hope helps soon but I'm a bit worried. Thanks everyone. X

Pain returning
Hiya hunni
I had a laparoscopy to remove endometriosis I'm may. 3 weeks later I got rushed into hospital with unbearable pain, had tests done etc and was told my endo was returning. I had my follow up and my consultants registrar confirmed this and said people are different, some people can go years without any symptoms and some people's never really go away.
They registrar I saw was amazing, she listened & was very sympathetic and said it's not all in my head and that she understands.
I was heartbroken to learn that it had come back so soon, but it's just one of those things :/
I hope you feel a little better soon.
The registrar wants to see me again in about a month to see if my symptoms have changed since the last time I saw her and I've also got a pain diary, the. I can show her and then decide on the next course of action xxxx
Oh wow, so it can come back really quickly. Yuk. You poor thing, I really hope you get sorted. It's so useful to know the pains aren't in my head - thank you so much. Let me know how you get on. Xx
Hi, hope you're ok today. Just wanted to say you were right, even after a small amount of time, my endo has come back. So disappointed but not surprised. I'm back on the pill and my consultant said that it was really just starting to come back so that would control the pain for now. Suffering today though. Yuk. Xx
