Blighted ovum
I had an open
myomectomy
with one of the best fibroids surgeon in the capital. But before that we decided to have 3 consecutive cycles, batching. So at 42, We had in total 7 top graded blastocyst.

Not happy with belly button after robotic laparoscopy :(
I went in for a
myomectomy
for a large 8cm fibroid tumor, but when the doctor was in there she also found a moderate amount of endo on my left ovary and Fallopian tube.

Hydrosalpinx after myomectomy
So so bumped to find that I know have been diagnosed with hydrosalpinx on both tubes. No history of STDs and been almost begging for check-up before discovery of new condition which started after a functional cyst was discovered. Been sad and upset that I haven't been listened to nor given after care

Open myomectomy
I’m booked in to have my open
myomectomy
on the 10th to remove fibroids, they can’t do keyhole as it’s more tricky with the adenomyosis as well.

Post surgery update
So I had my open
myomectomy
yesterday 🙂 I was really really scared and was supposed to be in early morning but ended up going into theater around 3pm ‘ish’ so the day did drag a lot.

Has anyone with fibroids tried zolodex as a treatment to shrink multiply fibroids
I know it seems selfish but I don't want a
myomectomy
as I've been told it may led to a hysterectomy as I had to have 4 blood transfusions though my pregnancy and after my c section.

Myomectomy what to expect before and after
Myomectomy
, dye test, and the camera thingy procedure. I’ve been advised to take two weeks off work and rest possibly three. What should I expect on the day and the recovery. I am feeling very anxious. This is my first ever operation of any kind.

Bladder/urinary pain. Advice?
One of my main issues since my
myomectomy
has been intense bladder/urinary pain. It always hurts to urinate, both sometimes burning but often this deep "contraction" feeling or wave of ache about middway through.

Pregnancy after myomectomy !
I’m currently 19+2 weeks pregnant after
myomectomy
. I had a fibroid removed last September then had a successful round of ivf in April. I’ve been booked in for csection at 39 weeks as they had to cut into my endometrium so can’t have a natural labour due to risk of uterine rupture.

Scar tissue, myomectomy & pregnancy
I met my consultant today for the first time. I’m now 15+3 weeks pregnant. Because of my fibroid removal last year (open myo) I have to have a planned csection for 39 weeks ! All being well ! Today at my scan baby looked healthy and lovely. He mentioned babies placenta was situated where my scar tissue

9cm fibroid
My gynae has suggested either a hysterectomy or a
myomectomy
if I find the pain becomes too much. At the moment I have left it - however she only wants me to stay on the pill for a maximum of another 6 months due to blood clot risks.

Pelvic nerve entrapment/damage from surgery
I had a laproscopic
myomectomy
in October and for 8 straight months have been in acute pain (I do not work, am unable to walk, urinate properly etc). If anyone has had nerve entrapment or damage from pelvic surgery can you explain how you managed this and if you ever got better?

IVF after open myomectomy
I've just had an open
myomectomy
( large C-section like incision) . Due for IVF in a month and a half. My tummy is still a bit swollen and my scar hurts - I'm worried there won't be enough room for ovaries to swell too! I have a high amh so they said I should expect my ovaries to swell quite a lot.
