Being referred for an MRI scan due to possible placenta accrete. After reading dr google I am absolutely terrified. I had a myomectomy last year and the babies placenta just happens to be on my scar site. They mentioned if accrete is there early csection, possible hysterectomy/blood transfusions. After going through ivf as well I just feel overwhelmed by it all

😢 so sorry you have to go through this. It sounds like you’ve been through the works. Keeping my fingers firmly crossed that everything goes ok for you xxx
Hey congratulations on finally getting pregnant! Since you mentioned IVF I gather that you've had a sufficiently long struggle to get all the way here. Sorry to hear about your condition or possible condition of placenta accereta... as it's yet to be confirmend by te MRI. There's obviously enough reason to be dreaded about it. However, I'd like to add that inspite of the possible complication during the childbirth or postpartum the good part it this doesn't threatens your pregnancy during the gestation period. Yes, the C-section is possibly inescapable if you're found to have placenta accereta but other complecations can be avoided if the clinical crew stay prepared for it. Usually, the team have such experience and expertise in handling such cases. So till the delivery time try to find ways to stay prepared. Stay well
