Update: 6 Months Since My Open Myomectomy
I really can’t believe it’s 6 month since my last op and I’m still having so many issues. This has had such a major impact on my life it’s unbelievable. There’s been no increase in my eating habits, no decrease of my digestive issues and pain is yo-yoing daily so the battle is still on. It’s a bit hard

Don't delay getting referred to Gynaecologist if your fibroid has reached 5 cm.
It seems there is a small window of time for a keyhole
myomectomy
7-8 cm. Get it checked sooner than later. Don't delay! xxx

Worried
I recently had an open
myomectomy
to remove a uterine fibroid, believe this was causing implantation failure as I had 3 failed embryo transfers with good quality blasts etc... when I went for my hystoscopy before surgery they noticed uterine polyps not many just a few.

Recovering from open myomectomy
Hi all, anyone had an open
myomectomy
here? I'm 10 days post op and feeling a little helpless As I don't know what to expect- pain worse at night but mostly on paracetamol since I refused any narcotic analgesics.

Another hurdle before 1st ET
My consultant said that in his opinion I would not need to have a
myomectomy
to allow embryos to attach as it was situated away from the cavity lower down.

Open myomectomy eve terrified...
Tomorrow morning I go in for my open
myomectomy
today I’m in a mess. I’m fighting back the tears because I don’t want to upset or scare my son. I’m petrified something will go wrong, I won’t wake up or il need a hysterectomy or if they find something sinister. I’m worried about waking up in pain.

A year after my last pregnancy I had an abdominal
myomectomy
, nearly 8 pounds of healthy/plump fibroids removed from inside and outside of my uterus.

Next step on the baby journey! Looking for points of view and advice
I’ve had fert counselling and decided to go for next op which is
myomectomy
for large fibroid found. Consultant says recovery 10 months. I need to save for double donation in Spain after this. Planning end of 2020 (I will be 42).

I’m still feeling considerably upset that my
myomectomy
has been cancelled for the summer and pushed back to December. This now means our treatment has been paused till summer next year. We have already been try to conceive for 5-6 years. I feel my mental health is really starting to suffer.

Does Visanne help shrink endometriotic cyst or adhesions?
Hi I was diagnosed with a 11 cm myoma in July 2017 and had it removed through laparoscopic
myomectomy
in December 2017. During the operation, my gynecologist discovered I had Stage 1 Endometriosis. She had it fulgrated as well.

4 weeks post myomectomy
Had a
myomectomy
4weeks ago, to solve the problem but sadly it seems to have not worked. Been back to hospital twice now due to heavy bleeding and pass huge blood clots. They can’t give me any answers and have just put me on Norethisterone for 3 months continuously.

Endo diagnosed, treated, now have fundal intramural fibroid causing havoc, 42 & not sure what to do next. Any experience?
Consultant has arranged
myomectomy
surgery to reduce fibriod but she didn't sound positive & wants to implant a coil to stop bleeding, I don't want this though as I can't see how it will help the pressure on other organs & pain after sex. Has anyone had a similar experience?
