Post surgery update

It’s been done yayy!!! So I had my open myomectomy yesterday 🙂 I was really really scared and was supposed to be in early morning but ended up going into theater around 3pm ‘ish’ so the day did drag a lot.

I obviously wasn’t aware of what was happening as I was under GA and just woke up in recovery talking gibberish from all the meds 😂😂.

I’m waiting to see my consultant for a full report but I think it went to plan and I’ll hopefully be allowed home tomorrow 🙂

That’s great news. Just take it easy though as it takes a while to recover. I had one a couple of years back due to fibroids which were stopping me falling pregnant and now I have an 8 month old.x

Thanks 😊 and yep I’m noticing that I’m getting tired really easy so I’ll deffo be resting a lot over Christmas.. no wild parties for me!! Wow for you though that’s lovely...congratulations!! It’s crazy how much damage these fibroids cause Xx

Hi, I am due a myomectomy next week for large intramural fibroid. Just wondering how your recovery went and if you don't mind me asking, how was you period after the surgery? I hope your recovery and life now is brilliant and the surgery helped.
