Cervical myelopathy
I had surgery in October, anterior and posterior discectomy, laminectomy and fusion. My prior MRI showed a severe compression plus C3 was sticking out and bent down, hard to explain. The MRI showed spinal cord damage. I’m 3 months post surgery and I’m walking better and balance is better but my hands

My wife Sylvia has been misdiagnosed twice and was told she had the Flu, then it was anxiety, some time after that which was in late 2016 then in early 2017 the GP agreed that it was Cervical
Myelopathy
, she was referred for an MRI, this caused a big problem as she is very claustrophobic and suffers

Do I or don’t I have
myelopathy
? Some of my docs say yes and some say no. Can I ask what you think? Upright MRI with flexion extension views.. I feel like there is more going on with the stenosis. Even more than in May/June.

MRI
Neurosurgeon didn’t do much of an exam and diagnosed the stenosis without radiculopathy or
myelopathy
. My pain doctor wants a new MRI with neck flexion and extension. He thinks my stenosis is exaggerated by these positions. Has anybody done this?
