Cellcept vs Myfenax
I thought that
Mycophenolate
brands were not interchangeable and you are advised to remain on the same brand? Is this correct? I'm already in a flare at the moment and have been unable to work since Christmas, so would rather not risk more symptoms. Thanks, Emily

From high hopes to not a lot of hope in one gruelling morning.
He asked how my breathing was since starting
Mycophenolate
. I said no improvement and if honest worse in the month I had been on it. He had all my blood results from my previous consultation on 2nd Jan. He had said then that
Mycophenolate
can take 4 months to have an effect.

Post SCT update
Consultant has reduced the
Mycophenolate
(in place of Cyclosporin which didn't agree with me) from 750 to 500mg twice daily and stopped the Ondansetron, Colecalciferol and Furosimide so in my eyes that is progress.

Surgery and immuno suppressants
I am due to have minor surgery on my wrist and have been asked by my surgeon to cease taking
mycophenolate
for a week before and a week after my operation (I presumed because of possible risk of infection?).

Systemic Sclerosis - lip augmentation at Royal Free?
I don't have any skin tightening yet, thankfully as on
mycophenolate
2g and that has reversed the skin involvement I had on my hands. Wondering whether I should wait for the worst to be over with my skin/ face, but how long is that really? Would be interested in your experiences please. (Hugs)

Changes started
Don’t know if this is the new drug
Mycophenolate
( which I am still struggling to get to the full dose) or the air purifiers. However the filters do appear to be catching dust n stuff. Carpets come out in a couple of weeks and hard flooring goes down.

Mycophenolate instead of Perfinedine or Nintenanib?
When I asked why I never got an explanation other than we are going with
Mycophenolate
. Has anyone else been told the same thing in similar circumstances and has anyone had an improvement in their condition with
Mycophenolate
? Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my post

Continued Journey
Chemo: Cyclophosphamide +3,+4, Tacrolimus +5 &
Mycophenolate
After Day +5 it’s anticipated to be fairly rough for awhile. At least to days+11 to +14. I’ll let you know. Last note: my Bone Marrow Biopsy after the O CHOP revealed CD19CD20 and a few other markers were not present.

Mycophenolate advice
She has been prescribed
Mycophenolate
, which they have said could potentially significantly slow down the scarring and fibrosis. Unfortunately she has a very low tolerance to most medications and usually experiences side effects which put her off taking stuff.

Mycophenolate
Hi, just wondering if anyone else has problems with fluctuating sugars levels whilst taking this drug ? Lifestyle and diet have been ruled out for me, so it must be medication.

sore facial rash
It started when I first started on
mycophenolate
about a year ago and my rheumatologist felt certain it was a reaction to the drug and took me off it. Although it did improve it still flares up from time to time especially if I am under the weather. Does anyone else suffer with this?
