Red marks on face
Does anyone use Elocon steroid cream, I used it on my red lupus marks a few years ago and they cleared up. I now have a couple of red marks on face, quite small, and have started using Elocon on them as they just won’t disappear. Some days they look really faded and other days look red again. I’m going

almost 200 days post SCT update
Spurred on by Jennie’s update earlier, I thought it was high time that I wrote an update on my progress. I’m almost at 200 days post transplant. I’ve hardly had any issues so far other than my Hb count has sat quite stubbornly at or around 80 for the past couple of months. This has resulted in a good

Itchy patches
Since jabbing myself with Pegasys interferon alfa2a for CALR +ET diagnosis, I've noticed the appearance of several small itchy patches on my abdomen and back. The ones on the abdomen are not on the site of the jab. My GP prescribed the application of a moderate steroid cream and one other non-steroid

Itchy knots under skin
I've been experiencing painful, itchy knots on my arms and legs that turn to blisters. Even worse when I scratch them. It's the same experience I have when I get mosquito bites, but I have not been exposed to any insects or allergens. Anyone else ever have this problem? My doctor just gave me a steroid

PD Dialysis - Week 5 - Training Day 2
Today, my PD nurse hooked me up and filled me with 1200ml of PD solution 2.5 today and I was to "Dwell" for 4 hours. She checked the TB test she did yesterday and it is looking ok. She also had me to bring my vaccination and immunization records that I keep on a card at home as well as my Covid immunization

pre- curser to PMR ?

( ancient !) but suddenly developed some mega active itching in both of my legs - mainly below knee,- this turned into lumpy crusty red areas which were so sore and painful. scratching was such a no-no but unavoidable which resulted in a hot burning

Skin reaction to bone growth stimulator electrode pads
I got a weepy itchy rash from the electode pads. I was prescribed steroid cream that only helped a tad. I ended up getting weird rashes and itching on random areas of my body and am now on a oral steroid that is working very well. Just curious if anyone has had this happen. Surgeon said to stop wearing

Scalp SLE diagnosed April 2021, conflicting/contradictory medications - any advice?
Hi I've had a biopsy which confirmed SLE for scalp last year in France (where I live).Having suffered health issues due to serious overmedication here before, I was reluctant to start on 400mg of Plaquenil. Got a 2nd opinion in Spain in May2021, who prescribed Diprosone (topical steroid cream) which

Hi guys so I got circumcised on the 9th june after having phimosis and balanitis for years. I am 5 days post op and am worried about the way my penis is healing. The problem I'm having is that my frenulum is constantly bleeding/oozing and doesn't really seem to be drying out. It hasn't seemed to improved

Has anyone had similar symptoms?
It all started at the beginning of July..I went to a spa and had a chemical reaction. I was wrongly told to use a steroid cream and thrush pessary and cream and not long after using these I developed pain inside my vagina and a feeling of a full bladder. The pain inside would flare up and down and felt

I'm 18 years old. When my penis is erect as it gets wider I cant pull my foreskin down more than half cm under the glans (my penis's body is more wide than the tip). It's good when my penis is not erect. I have 3 options:

scar on penis
Hello there. Some time ago I had a problem with inflammation on my penis glans. I used unwisely a steroid cream on it and that caused burns. They healed a bit (it is ca. 3 weeks from it now) but I still have some discoloration and kind of star tissue forming. I'm really worried that it won't go off

Thyroid Dermopathy in an Unusual Location
When something catches my eye, there's always a chance someone else will find it of some interest. Am wondering if any members think they too have had atypical thyroid dermopathy?

Will increasing my HRT dose cure my itch legs as it did for Caroline Noakes MP.
I heard the MP Caroline Noakes on Radio 2 last week discussing how she had cured her problem with itching legs that were so bad that she drew blood when scratching them. The cure involved increasing her dose of HRT until the itching stopped. I use HRT and suffer from the same itchy legs problem for

Dry, thickened skin on fingertips, now a little numb
I know we've talked about severely dry skin before and shared recommendations for moisturizers. Since I started taking Verzenio 4 years ago, I've had very dry skin on my hands and feet, nails ridged and dry, and cracking skin on fingers and toes. It used to be just in winter, but is gradually getting
