Since jabbing myself with Pegasys interferon alfa2a for CALR +ET diagnosis, I've noticed the appearance of several small itchy patches on my abdomen and back. The ones on the abdomen are not on the site of the jab. My GP prescribed the application of a moderate steroid cream and one other non-steroid cream and although I’ve applied this dutifully the patches haven’t disappeared and remain itchy. I’ve never had psoriasis or eczema. I’d much appreciate readers insight and advice.

Someone here posted that Aveeno lotion helps with the itch. I'm switching from HU to Anagrelide and picked up itching in the bargain. I tried Aveeno and found instant relief.
Psoriasis is a known side effect of IFN like PEG or Besremi, but it's possible you have something else. I've had a slight increase in psoriasis. I get relief from basic hydrocortisone, but as you note you need other options which others here will have good ideas.
I have experienced some transitory rashes and itching without rashes. I take a daily Claritin 10mg. It controls the itching very nicely. If a popup rash is bothersome, i treat with Eucrisa, which i am prescribed for eczema. It works quite well.
