Do you need to take a b-complex when taking 100mcg b12 and a multivitamin which contain 100%of b-vits?

Yes, I had and it was 500 (211-911)

But I was taking b12 in a multivitamin every day before the test was done.

Yes, the multivitamin I'm talking contains the other b vitamins too.

It's unlikely that there will be deficiency when B12 is 500. If the multivit contains the other B vits there's no need to take a B Complex vitamin too.

It depends whether your multivit contains iron. If it does, then it will block all the vitamins, and you won't absorb any of them! Multivits are a very, very bad idea, for many reasons. You're just throwing your money down the drain.
