Update (warning long post sorry)
Just an update following my original post regarding a study that i was invited to take part in. I had my first fibroscan a few days ago and apparently i dont have any fibrosis which means i am not eligible for the study. I was pleased that my NASH had not progressed but disappointed that i cant be involved

Angular Cheilitis
Morning all Today's random question ! Does anyone else suffer from angular cheilitis ? I have no idea if it is liver related but have tried every known topical treatment but it will not clear up. Liver nurse thought it might be caused by vitamin deficiency but I take a multivitamin tablet daily. Have

Supplements Advice Needed
I know I might seem ahead of myself but I’m trying to remain positive. After finding out on Tuesday that we had 4 eggs fertilised, I’ve been incredibly busy at work and not had much time to think about it. As good as that is, I really don’t think that it’s a good thing that I’ve not been able to give

Ferritin blood results - advice please!
Hi all, I visited my GP last week to request a blood test to check my iron levels as I have all the symptoms of low iron and very heavy periods. At the same time I asked her to check my B12 and thyroid levels (I’m hypothyroid and on thyroxine). I’m just fed up of feeling rubbish so trying to help myself

Vitamin D / K advice would be appreciated
I'm posting on behalf of my 89-year-old Dad, who is seeing an enlightened endo. Even though his Vitamin D levels are within range, they are at the lower end: 60 (50 - 125) and the endo would like him to supplement with 1,000iu. The surgery is yet to receive the letter from the endo and therefore to implement

Not so NICE guidelines.
People today eat so much folate because of "five a day", fortification and
multivitamins
. How come they don't take this into account?

New here
I am new in this disease and I am confused what is happening to me that's why I am here to read all the experiences their having. It really help me a lot and it's like giving me a huge information about what I am experiencing right now. I've visited my Doctor for 2 times already and my thyroid level

Coeliac pain-is it a vitamin deficiency? Already on a multivitamin and vitamin D with calcium.
Fed up. About to have an op on Friday and after going gf last June, I’ve suddenly had a huge flare up of what seems like neuropathy inflammation and pain. I’m type 1 diabetic since childhood, epileptic, have an under active thyroid and coeliac but the pain from this is horrible. I’m holding my ‘phone

B12 & FOLATE LEVELS & INJECTION QUESTIONS
Hi All I would be very grateful if anyone could help answer a few questions I have. I suffer from B12 Deficiency and currently have 3 monthly injections. I have noticed for some time when I have my injection there is a slight improvement with my symptoms. I have finally decided to pluck up the courage

How I got my BFP
Hi ladies, and gents. I thought I would just write a little post about what I felt helped me get to my BFP. I am currently 17 weeks +4 carrying a little fella. :D I know how incredibly lucky I am, and I just want people to believe/know that IVF can work. The whole IVF journey, from first consultation

Supplements - food allergies
I have an 8yo with severe food allergies and his only supplement he takes is multivitamin and iron. I believe he doesn't get enough omega 3 so I also try to add flax seed in his diet (not consistent though as he is a picky eater due to the food allergies). Anyone have any recommendations for supplements

CoQ10
Hi. Can someone please shed some light on CoQ10? Should I be taking it in addition to Pregnacare? And if I should, what dose? Can anyone please also share some success stories where they feel CoQ10 has made a difference to their egg quality. Thanks! Xx
