Mucinex

If she suspects a virus there is nothing she can give and just suggests plain mucinex (without the decongestant) and it takes me several weeks to get over it. I have three small kids so unfortunately I pick up stuff easily.

Plus I'm taking Mucinex and such to help the stuff move and to help with the coughing at night so I can actually get some sleep, as suggested by my doctor.... I just... don't know if there is anything else I can do to get rid of this. Is there? Do I need to just be resting all the time?

I actually felt better after the mucinex and was able to go some grading and clean my apartment. Other than that i took it easy today. But I noticed at night I always feel worse. My stomach is a little upset probably from my anxiety around being sick, so I don’t really want to take any nyquil.

Anyone have tips for dealing with this beyond salt/baking-soda mouth washes (gargling perhaps too) and Mucinex to thin it out a bit?

The school germs have needed stronger stuff so we’ve been doing Mucinex free from because were avoiding dyes and it works really well for us.

My throat isn’t as swollen and I decided I’m going to stop taking mucinex only because I’ve been taking it so much I think it’s starting to upset my stomach. The eye drops have been helping my pink eye.

I was trying to get ahead of it by taking Mucinex the second night so I could prevent it spreading into my lungs as much as possible. My whole body jerked and thrashed all night long plus I never got tire - big time insomnia.

I am taking Flovent HFA , Levalbuterol, and mucinex . Dr. Just ordered Spiriva Respimat and montelukast . I read the side effects of montelukast (upper respiratory infections etc) . Has anybody had any issues with the side effects?

Plus my doctor said I could take Mucinex but I stopped after reading that it may not be good to take in the first month. So now I'm worried I've ruined everything of course 😩 terrible timing to get sick!

My husband suggested I take a Mucinex today to hopefully break up whatever congestion is left and get it out of my system today. I took the Mucinex and now feel pretty tired. I am trying very hard to stay calm and not rush off for a chest xray. I am fine.

Has anyone taken plain mucinex to help with your sinuses ? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated .

I have given him Mucinex but don't know if this is the same and is ok to take.

Thinking sinus headache, took a box of Sudafed, Benadryl, and Mucinex! (No not all at once) 😒 although I thought about it. Then it moved to my chest. Made appointment with the Dr. Ex- rays taken. Antibiotics given. Still have killer headache!🙁 But walking Phomonia? I don't have time for that!

Her latest symptoms are horrible cough that is productive and somewhat controlled with mucinex liquid and extreme fatigue. Her doc is looking into latest trial and possibly chemo pill. He has tried 2 rounds of chemo ( I’ve forgotten name, appears to be common combo) but it was not effective.

Just wondering if anyone takes anything like the above. If so do you find it helpful? I’m fine during the day, easier obviously to clear. I’m on Braltus and Ventolin but frequently suffer disturbed sleep because of the need to “cough up “ and clear my airways. My thinking is the above will water down

She told me to go but some Mucinex in which I did. After taking it for a couple of days I still get this short of breath feeling which comes & goes. I also have been diagnosed with Gastritis & I was taking Pantoprazole for it.

Where can I buy Mucinex extended release in the UK?
