Medical Cannabis for Pain Management in Cancer
I am currently a Stage IV NSCLC Cancer Survivor is looking for guidance and input from anyone who is incorporating Medical Cannabis into their treatment regimen, particularly for pain. NOTE: I personally do not feel there is enough research that shows it can be curative as a treatment cancer

What showed up on my scan? 🤷‍♀️
My latest scan showed no progression! And diminishing uptake over all in bone mets. Good news! But 2 things that were interesting and questionable were on there. First it said I had 2 healing fractures in my ribs. (News to me) And 2 I had thickening in mastectomy region similar to that produced by radiation

How my AF started...
Question for all the very knowledgeable people on here: Background: I had a Sleeve Gastrectomy (weight loss surgery) in 2012. Extremely successful up until 3 years ago when I began to gain weight but I wasn’t eating more. Then I started having to force myself to be sick after eating just a tiny bit

First Post New Here
hello. 75 year old man with radical prostatectomy in December. I had biopsy in August with 2 or 12 cores positive at Gleason7 & G8. Prostate Specific Antigen was 13 having quadrupled in a year. MRI and bone scans were negative. Pelvic nodes at surgery were negative. Prostate itself was read as G9

New invasive on mastectomy side.
I am new to this site and to metastatic breast cancer. I had a mastectomy 12 years ago for Dcis. Unfortunately I have now fallen into the less than 2% of people who get a cancer from the less than 5% of breast tissue left behind. I found fullness and a mass in the arm pit. Anyone else have this experience

Marijuana
I have posted something similar to this before, but I'll expand on it slightly. I used to love smoking weed back in the day. Loved it, couldn't imagine life without it. I always saw the whole "medical marijuana" as just a cop out for people to get stoned. Then I stopped for about 18 years. But the

Age.... what’s age?
I decided a long time ago that age was only a number. I used to purposely leave it off my CV if I was job hunting. This wasn’t because I was precious about it but because I knew whatever age I was I could do the job, probably just as well if not better than the younger ones. People often said to me

CBD/THC
We live in NY about one hour north of NYC. I’m thinking that some CBD/THC would help my husbands discomfort from all the treatments he is beginning as well as whatever he is experiencing from the PC. Best source for medical marijuana in NY? Any experience with it? Thanks! A

Hi from down under.
Hello. My journey began in March 2016 when an mri raised a suspicion of there being cancer in my prostate. I had a biopsy in June 2016 which gave a positive result and a Gleason 7. I was referred to a urological surgeon and in August underwent a radical prostatectomy done by the da Vinci method. Unfortunately

Calcium/vitD
When I was first diagnosed I was given Adcal by the specialist GP, I took these for a month, when I saw my GP she said she had a better calcium supplement that you only have to take once a day. She gave me theical-D3 1000mg/880iu chewable tablets. They contain less calcium than the adcal. Does anyone

Back pain after eating
Hi Wondering if anyone can offer advice? I had a total gastrectomy 3 weeks ago, so I’m aware it’s very early days and everything is probably working really hard. I’ve been doing ok, I was having a few hard days over the weekend, bloating and uncomfortable and diarrhoea. I’ve been given digestive enzymes

Gleason 9 PSA 666 Dx 2010
They told me I'd no make it this long, maybe 5 years if I did everything they told me to do. That being unacceptable I decided not to do everything they told me to do. I started Lupron back in 2011 after surgery. Post surgical tests were all great, but PSA never came down under 66. They could not explain
