I was diagnosed in June 2019 with PMR after an unexpected attack out of the blue , when I was in so much pain I couldn't move and began shaking and with my teeth chattering. An excellent GP pulled out all the stops, arranged immediate blood tests and other examinations and very soon prescribed prednisolone

Vasectomy complications with AMN?
Hello all, My wife and I just had our second child a month ago. We both agree we only want two children, so I have been planning to get a vasectomy to avoid future pregnancies. Today I met with a vasectomy specialist, and during our consultation, we had a long conversation about concerns with AMN. Because

I have no idea what I’m expecting anyone to help with but I get so sick of being fobbed off by doctors that I just feel the need to vent somewhere. To give a brief history I’ve not felt well since the birth of my 6th child 7 years ago. Exhaustion, sleep issues, period issues, I got diagnosed in 2019

Wet dream after circumcision
So I was circumcised, with vasectomy too, last Friday (6 days ago now). Last time I ejaculated was on the Tuesday before - so 8 days ago... last night, despite the sutures and continuing dull pain, I had a huge wet dream! Woke up with the sheets all covered in cum! It’s like being a teenager again

Menopause and Endo
Hi, since having a Caesarean section 24 years ago, I have suffered from painful adhesions. I had 2 laparoscopies in that time, and on both occasions no Endo was found. 4 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer, had a mastectomy and reconstruction, which meant more surgery on my stomach, more scarring

Reefer Madness!!!
I'll say right from the start that I don't smoke dope (anymore). I tried it after a decade+ break when I was briefly back in the UK a year or so back and it near completely sorted out the neuropathy in my legs. I cut my Gabapentin use by 80-90% as well. My legs felt fantastic. No more tingly, achey

What next!
Having suffered for 40 years and tried most things I am now just on 30ml Codeine and totally exhausted with lack of sleep as it doesn't really work. I've been reading through all the wonderful advice about medicine to help RLS, concluding that Tramadol or Medical Cannabis is the best next step? Maybe

Best Cannabis Strains for Muscle Spasms
Go TO marijuanagrow.shop or google Best Cannabis strains for Muscle Spasms marijuanagrow.shop PS They do discrete mailing if you message them. I would contact maijuanagrowshop and ask them which strain they recomment for Rls. My guess it will be Indica strain there are a few good ones. Then if you are

UK prescriptions no longer valid in the EU
A 9-year-old boy with epilepsy won't be able to get his medical cannabis from the Netherlands. The article (link below) includes a letter from the DHSC, saying UK prescriptions are no longer valid in the EU. This may be a blow to those of us who buy T3 from Germany- another letter to my MP I think!

My daughter with stage 4 but oligometastatic is having single mastectomy dec 2. Says she is not worried about surgery. Is completely unraveled as my husband says. Two kids 18 months and 5. Good husband. Made them all move to huge rental and sell current home because she said gives her ptsd about chemo

Starting again, any advice?
Hi ladies, After a miscarriage from FET we are thinking of getting the ball rolling again for a new cycle, we have no Frosties left now. In our first round we stupidly thought that it was a given we would be successful and didn’t really do anything different with our lifestyle. Does anyone have any advice

ADCAL and RISEDRONATE
good morning - a quick question. Should I be reducing these meds also as I reduce the pred? My prednisolone is down from 15mg to 2.5 mg after 30 months but the others have stayed at the same dose (Adcal @3000 mg daily and Risedronate @ 35mg weekly) - I'd really love that extra half hour in bed back

Questions for the RO for my upcoming video conference regarding options for early salvage treatment (and ADT) after Radical Prostatectomy?
I had my radical prostatectomy (RP) on 6/3/2019. Given my pathological results (see below for details) and the definite trend in my PSA levels over the last 18 months (see graph below), my surgeon now thinks I should pursue early salvage radiation therapy and I agree, but now trying to decide on the
