Vitamin K2 Mk7
Good morning. I have just ordered this as I have learned from this site that I should be taking this with AdCal to help the absorption of the calcium into my bones. The vitamin k is once a day so should i take it with the mid morning AdCal or evening one ? Thanks very much. Currently tapering 4.0/3.5

Should I cancel salvage radiation and ADT
I am 58 years old. I’m 185cms and weigh 95 kg. I was diagnosed with Gleeson 4+3 =7 around Feb 2014. I had a radical prostatectomy in 2014, Monitoring of my psa showed increasing levels; from 0.02 to 0.57 in Feb 2021. So it took 7 years to get from 0.02 to 0.57 I commenced ADT treatment 3 months

11 years ago I had a mastectomy on my right breast, and followed up with 7 weeks of radiation. All was well...then in May I was short of breath and my primary Doctor said it was COPD? Well I questioned that and demanded a lung xray. That is when involvement in a lymph node was found, and then after

Survival rates with external beam radiation therapy in newly diagnosed elderly metastatic prostate cancer patients
New German study below [1]. The elderly patients were at least 75 at diagnosis. Only 2 more years & I will finally be elderly. I wonder what it will be like? LOL. As a group, older guys obviously have shorter life expectancy, but there has to be a better way to define 'elderly' than age. What about

Mastectomy wound
Hi ladies I had a left mastectomy in Jan 17, have had various treatments and have been on Cape for about 1 1/2 years but unfortunately it has stopped working and I am about to start Kadcyla IV. Recently a small wound has opened along line of my mastectomy scar, they have taken a biopsy as they think

I had a fifth PET/CT scan this past May to check on any possible recurring breast cancer. All that the oncologist called and said was I had a right kidney stone that could possibly be blocking my kidney. (Turns out it was in my ureter and must’ve passed itself). I asked what else and he said that was

I don't know what to do now?
Back in July, after a routine blood test, my Levo was reduced from 175mg to 150mg because my T4 was too high. I had a further test 7 weeks later and my T4 had gone up slightly. I posted my results on here and was advised to have some private blood test to check on Vits etc. My dear mum became very

Dating post prostate surgery
Had my radical prostatectomy August 10th of this year. This weekend met someone and went out on a date Sunday night. It was good I was open and honest with my medical issues. My question to those that are single, how long after your surgery did you wait before getting back in the dating game?

Ferritin levels
Finally managed to convince my GP to test my ferritin level. The result came back at 94 and from reading posts here, I note the level should be above 100. Could someone clarify please if Ferritin is the same as Ferrograd. I have been using Pregabalin 175mg for about a year and find the effects

Hi everyone how are you? I hope you are all doing well. I'm here hoping someone can help me cause I feel really anxious and concerned with this matter that I've been told litt÷ to nothing about. If it's ok I'll give you first a little bit of context. It took the NHS 7 years to diagnose me with severe

Adcal or not
Sorry I'm unable to cut and paste. A recent letter to a doctor in the newspaper asked about having taken Lansoprazole for a problem can cause bones to thin. Recently diagnosed with advanced Osteoporosis she has been prescribed AA and Adcal. The doctor suggests that calcium carbonate would be better changed

Update of status. BCR
Hi all, hoovering around 0.2 is ongoing for almost two years. Six years from RP. MSK nomograms are not applicable for adjuvant RT cases. Medical marijuana in the UK
Hi everyone. Has anyone in the UK used a private doctor to obtain medical marijuana? There appear to be quite a few reputable private medical centres that will prescribe it, but at a significant cost. But Having tried pretty much every other pain relief I’m considering giving it a try and would appreciate
