I had a mastecomy just over a week ago and yesterday the doctor mentioned about going on the above mentioned drugs. Major progression after three hospitalizations can I improve? Sorry for the long post.
I’ve been officially diagnosed since 2015, tremors on left side two years prior. I have counted myself as fortunate. Independent, driving at 74, gym rat, very gradual progression if at all. MDS has kept me at c/l 25-100 three times daily plus rasagiline. Yes, I have had off periods where my energy and

ZOLENDRONIC ACID VERSUS PROLIA?
Hi Everyone 👋 Just looking for a bit of advice. I've had RA for 39 years, and have been on steroids for about 28 years now. I'm 53. As a result, it's affected my bone strength and I've had a number of Osteoporotic fractures. Initially I had Risedronate/Actonell but (like many people) was unable to

Missed period, increased pain?
Hi everyone, I'm having a bad month, honestly saw it coming because last month I had only a 2 day period and then 9 days of spotting plus some spotting at ovulation. That doesn't usually happen unless I'm going to miss a period the month after or I'm pregnant. Just to clarify, I'm 100000000% not pregnant

How is cannabis on the liver? I’ve read some conflicting things, I read it can help improve liver as an anti inflammatory thing.

Help for a friend with corticobasal degeneration.
Dear forum friends: I have a friend who has been diagnosed with corticobasal degeneration. I can't find much specific information about this atypical parkinsonism. Except for Dr. Costantini's reference in the famous interview (number 30) or the comments on medical cannabis oil, I can't find any information

Cannabis/marijuana
Someone briefly posted about cannabis edibles helping them and then removed the post. They thought it was illegal in the UK. I just want to let people know that Medical cannabis is now available in the UK. You have to pay for it, but it's now legal and RLS is treated as a neurological disease like MS

Hello, everyone
I am a 74 year old man, generally fairly fit and well. I have type 2 Diabetes, and I am Urinary Incontinent having had issues with it most of my life (mainly Bed-wetting). Following a Radical Prostatectomy a couple of years ago, my incontinence is now total, and I need to wear Adult Nappies 24/7.

Ovarian Cystectomy?
Hi, I went to the hospital yesterday and I'm being booked in for another laparoscopy and a double Ovarian cystectomy. They are likely to take one or both ovaries entirely due to large dermoid cysts/benign tumours in both ovaries . Does anyone have any advice? Has anyone had this surgery? I feel really

Fed up doesnt even cover it
HI fellow sufferers, Ive been on pred since March, reducing v slowly from 15, now down to 12. Under hospital care who want me to swap AA to risedronate. Im cautious about doing this because they both seem to have the same side effects. Have been taking the weekly AA for 5 weeks now , was fine at first
