Good morning. I have just ordered this as I have learned from this site that I should be taking this with AdCal to help the absorption of the calcium into my bones. The vitamin k is once a day so should i take it with the mid morning AdCal or evening one ? Thanks very much. Currently tapering 4.0/3.5 mg.

Vitamin K2 Mk7
Don’t think it matters….I used to take mine with the evening dose, but now take it with morning one. Can’t say I’ve noticed anything different!
Whatever suits you,
Same as DL. Doesn't really matter. I take mine after main meal at 5pm.
I take mine with evening meal too. Must have been advised that but can’t recall from where now.
I have different question... Do you need any calcium supplements if you are at such low dose? It depends on overall bone condition and DEXA scan results, but you may be a time to ask the question what your Rheumatologist thinks about it. Mine discontinued any calcium supplements at 2.5-3mg level of prednisone. As far as K2 MK7 almost everyone benefits from it ( I take mine in natural form - natto).
I take mine lunch time with the Vitamin D
If you are taking Warfarin as an anticoagulant then you should avoid Vitamin K. If you are taking one of the novel oral anticoagulants, (NOACs) such as Dabigatran or Apixaban then there is no interaction with vitamin K. drugs.com/drug-interactions...

There is a difference between vit K1 and vit K2 - bit like the range of B vitamins. It isn't known how much effect K2 has on blood clotting but what is important is that you have a steady amount of anything in your diet and don't work on a feast or famine pattern. We are never told not to eat vit K1 containing things here, just to eat them regularly so the INR is related to a regular diet.
This article backs up the regular eating; I didn't add it to my original comment as I wanted to keep the number of external references down to 2. I guess the same applies to taking a K2 supplement regularly. pennmedicine.org/updates/bl.... 😀
I imagine so - as long as the INR is adjusted while you are taking it.
INR is measured for Warfarin but not for NOACs
I know - been on both myself even without knowing the physiology. But vit K is less important in the NOACs - mind you, they try using vit K to reverse bleeding due to overdose. I chose one with a proper antidote, even though it meant taking 2x daily dosing - which I also find comforting.
I would not take it within the 2 hr window of taking the AdCal otherwise take it with food containing some fat as it is fat soluble vitamin. Morning or evening I don’t think it matters. I take mine with breakfast. The calcium mid afternoon or mid evening well away from other vitamins or medicines.
