Pain with the marina
Hi all, In June 2016 I had a laparoscopy and was diagnosed with endos, whilst out for surgery I had the marina coil fitted. I was told by my doctor that it should stop the endos from coming back, and since then I haven't had any pain or any signs of a period until now. I've had excruciating pain all

First Gynae appointment/ mirena coil fitted, anyone put on weight with it?
Hi all, I had my first appointment with the gynae today I had ultrasounds initially which were fine however the gynacologist told me that all of my symptoms point towards endometriosis. She states the options include lap which she wasn't so keen on and advised me to try the mirena coil and fitted it

Mirena - Good News
Hi Girls! I just write to give you some feedback of my Mirena treatment. My doctor prescribed it to me at the beginning of the year, since he wanted to try to reduce my endometriosis cyst with it. After 8 months the cyst has been reduced from around 7cm to 4cm. So the treatment is working on me :)

Mirena coil and cystic acne. Rant/moan
My Mirena coil was fitted January 2016, and I thought it was perfect for me. I no longer get any periods, I have no endo pain/cramps/PMS.. It is (and still is) giving me a better quality of life. The only downside is a sudden outbreak of acne, I suppose it started about 3 months ago. I noticed sore

After 46 Dr's apps I finally got referred back to my consultant and under went disscussion about what it could be

Not sure about surgery
Hi Hope someone can help, I've been seen by a specialist endo consultant who has said a laparoscopy is indicated, I've definitely got haemorrhagic ovarian cysts and adhesions which were picked up by ultrasound He's also suggested either the mirena coil or an ablation, there wasn't really a third option

Mirena Coil-extreme pain
Hello all, Hope you are all ok. Just wondered if anyone else suffers with the mirena coil? I had mine inserted a month ago during my lap and I am still getting excruciating cramps to the point where they take my breath away. I never wanted the coil but the doctors were insistent that it would help,
