Med side effect

sorry for the TMI but I’m having pretty severe constipation from my meds. I’m eating prunes, drinking Miralax and resorting to ExLax and things are still a struggle. Drinking tons of water also. Anyone have a surefire tip? It will get better, won’t it? Again, sorry for the unsavory topic.

When I read it my impression was all this wasn't working. I'm sorry for the confusion.

Hi BasketK, I may not be able to recommend since it is best you go through

your doctor's advice. However, when in the hospital last year, I was given

Colace (a stool softener) rather than a stimulant laxative. Please ask your

doctor before trying anything new. Water has got to be the base of anything

working as well. :) xx

when the dam bursts things will start working as such then just keep on top of it with the daily prunes

Grapes very good laxative and flax seeds (little in yogurt or smoothie)

Try Cascara Sagrada. It is not habit forming and retrains the bowel muscles to work properly. Use it along with lots of applesauce or prune juice.
