Thinking about 2nd IVF advice??
Hi after my recent IVF didn't work out, dh and I have decided to take a break until new year. We plan to go on holiday over Xmas. I'm on a round of letrozole as consultant said I may as well try it for this cycle. Then I'm back into pill if unsuccessful for a couple of months as part of long protocol

Feeling Unsure
Hi everyone, this is my first post but I hoped someone may be able to help. I'm a bit of a strange case anyway because I have endometriosis and my hormones have been suppressed on letrozole for about 7 years which means I've never had a period in that long. My consultant referred us to IVF team and

Biophosphates- Risedronate and letrozole
Hi I am on letrozole for a few years and have been diagnosed with osteoporosis - just over borderline. I tried alendronate but had bad side effects am now trying Risedronate. I just wonder how effective this will be. Does anyone else have experience of these two medications together?

Drugs.
On letrozole drug for 5 years, do not like side affects, can l change my drug? Would prefer Tomoxofan as l was on this drug for 5 years after my previous cancer and had no side effects.

Letrozole
Following a double mastectomy last year with no chemo or radiotherapy I was put on hormone treatment Letrozole. I have the usual side effects like joint pain and stiffness but find recently that I am very tired, does anyone have the tiredness problem or perhaps I am short of a vitamin or something?

Worried about Rosacea
Hi Guys, I'm a 33 year guy and recently had an outbreak bumps and redness on my face. It happened in March this year. I moved back from Australia in September and everything was fine. I'm quite fair but have never suffered with flushing or skin problems in my life. The doctor suggested it could be Rosacea

Trametinib low grade cancer
Hi everyone Has anyone any experience of the Drug trametinib which is given on (LOGS) trial. It is for women with low grade ovarian cancer. It is a MEK inhibitor. I am interested in side effects and results of trial. My alternative is letrozole so would be very interested in how effective this was

Worried about unexplained bruising
Hello everyone - I am on Letrozole as a preventative measure against a recurrence. I understand that it only really kicks in after 3 months, which is now. Last week and again this week I have had what look like burst blood vessels/veins on my face (one on my eyelid and today on my cheek). The GP has

letrozole - how to minimise the side effects
Hi everyone - I have been reading the tamoxifen posts with great interest. I have a weak oestregan receptor (3/10) and on balance my oncologist is recommending starting letrozole (I am post menapausal) which she says I will be on for at least 10 years. Side effects can be nasty though I don't know if

LETROZOLE
Hi all, I had surgery last December I had a mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. I didn't require chemotherapy nor radiotherapy and feel very fortunate. My tumour was receptive to oestrogen so I was put on LETROZOLE , my first 'brand' gave me terrible joint pain. I am taking a different brand now

Thin lining
Hi Everyone Hubby and I have been trying for a baby now for 3 years with no success. For the past year I have taken clomid with no effect and more recently Letrozole. I seem to have no problems ovulating, my tubes are clear, the only problem appears to be my lining which never seems to measure above

Anyone else change from Letrozole to Tamoxifen?
Hello all. I had breast cancer three years ago. Been on Letrozole since but now diagnosed with osteoporosis. Advised to come off Letrozole and start Tamoxifen. Has this happened to anyone else and what, if any, side effects did you have on the Tamoxifen? Any comments or advice welcome thank you.
