anyone on letrozole for oc

hi there, just started letrozole after 4th line chemo,last chemo taxol for 18 weeks no reduction in tumours but hasn't spread and ca 125 rising 6 weeks after finishing treatment

Hiya, Im seeing my onc this thurs with the suggestion from the Marsden that I go onto this, Im interested to know how you respond to it. Are they going to be scanning you regularly? PM me if you wish

Hi Kate, just started letrozole last Wednesday, as of yet no side effects eg hot flushes, joint pain, probably to early yet no scan, will be seen again in 3 months just keep in check on ca125 but i will be asking for scan next time. i have a friend is on it 3 months now with no side effects is going for a scan at end of month will let you know how she gets on please keep in touch Jan x

I started letrozole today! Im being scanned again in Sept, my onc thinks it will work well to stop it growing for a long long time. High hopes!
