Hi . I have been on letrozole for 7 years , and took it in a morning for about the 1st 6 years .. Then thought I would try taking it at night , but it seemed to make no difference .. But remember we don't all suffer from the side effects , or how badly we suffer is different .. So maybe you will have to try yourself xxx good luck xx

I've tried taking it in morning and evening, and didn't find any difference. I've been on it for 17 months. I do get aches and pains, hot flushes, but it's better than the other option.

Good luck, it was helpful to read other people's experiences, so you know it's not your imagination.

Hi , I have been on letrozole just over a year , initially taking it in the morning and found that I was having hot flushes at work so changed it the the evening to see if it made a difference.

I have only had the odd hot flush during the day so switching times seems to have made a difference for me , although now I do have some during the night, although this is not all the time.

Best wishes hope this helps xx

I took in the mornings for the first year, then changed till the evenings, side effects are marginally better for me taking in the evenings, but everyone is different, I found changing my diet had more of a difference to my energy levels, and if I have a day of crap diet i.e. Takeaway or cakes chocolate etc, I feel bloated and sluggish, I am now a veggie and don't have much diary.

I take mine in the evening, about 6. To be honest I do this mainly because it the easiest time for me to remember to take it. I was taken no tamoxifen and I seem to have less side effects with letrizole. Good luck.

I have just started taking Letrozole and decided to take it at night just before bedtime. This was based on its peak blood level being whilst I was asleep and therefore might minimise some side effects. So far so good but Im sure everybody is different and some side effects are probably related to your menopausal status pretreatment. Good Luck x

I take it at 5pm every day and only seem to have hot flushes at night. I have noticed I have put on 10 pound, not sure if that's related and bloat easy too???? Xxx
