Can Methylprednisolone affect Ascites?
Recently I hurt my back running and was prescribed a 4mg/day
methylprednisolone
dose pack to help with the injury. I began taking the steroid last Tuesday evening, and by Wednesday afternoon to my pleasure noticed a marked reduction in my Ascites…like possibly even gone completely.

Looking for alternative to inhaled steroid
I have asked the doctor repeatedly whether there is some other long acting treatment regimine that I could implement that would not require my inhaling steroids but he refuses and just keeps treating the thrush with fluconazole and
methylprednisolone
. Anyone have any suggestions?

Starting Calquence
Met onc today who talked about my case with my old onc at MDA, they both recommended it’s time for Calquence because of the CLL being SLL now and the flareups not really subsiding like they used to (I would swell about twice a year, do
methylprednisolone
, and be fine for about 9 months).

GPM6B Inhibit PCa Proliferation by Blocking Prostate Cancer Cell Serotonin Absorptive Capacity
These results suggested the potential function of GPM6B as a diagnostic marker of PCa and provided clues for the development of new treatment targets for PCa. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33294057

Confused
He had to root around to find sufficient (
Methylprednisolone
?? I think that's right) so I had 3x40 ml vials. He said he thought these injections should be administered by a doctor. The results were nothing like as dramatic as the first one, but I did feel less exhausted and slightly less stiff.

Lupus Nephritis and Cyclophosphamide
Having recently moved hospitals I wasn't seen for a while which unfortunately let the nephritis get worse (I have Class IV) so my new doctors put me on the Euro-lupus regimen with 3x intravenous drips of
methylprednisolone
and 6 courses of intravenous cyclophosphamide.

Finally Have Answer on Foot - Strange Outcome
The doctor there could see the inflammation and prescribed
methylprednisolone
for 6 days. It did not help. I saw my GP on the 16th. He was puzzled by the swelling, pain and red rash like area, but had no answers.

Can you take Prednisone and MethylPREDNISolone together?
I just went to Express Care for swelling, inflammation and PAIN in my foot and a massive bruise on my leg. IAS far as I know, I did not bump, fall, etc. so there is no reason for what happened for certain. I already take Prednisone. The doctor in Expreess Care prescribed the MethylPred for the pain,

Battling Gout
My nephrologist and care team agreed that
Methylprednisolone
would be good to help deal with my problem. Within a couple of days, the swelling and pain were gone. Is anyone else having issues with gout, and how are you dealing with it?

THE 2021 EUROPEAN GROUP ON GRAVES' ORBITOPATHY (EUGOGO) CLINICAL PRACTICE GUIDELINES FOR THE MEDICAL MANAGEMENT OF GRAVES' ORBITOPATHY
A cumulative dose of 4.5 grams (g) of iv
methylprednisolone
in 12 weekly infusions is the optimal regimen. Alternatively, higher cumulative doses not exceeding 8 g can be used as monotherapy in most severe cases and constant/inconstant diplopia.

Lupus and Heart Disease: Why You’re at Increased Risk
Medication The biggest offenders are steroids like prednisone and
methylprednisolone
(Medrol), which are often used to control lupus flares. Flares themselves can be bad for your heart; it’s not unusual to develop pericarditis in the midst of a flare.

Difficulty tapering and questions~!
After my initial infusions of steroids, I was on 125 mg per day of prednisone, then 100 mg for a month before switching to 85 mg per day of
Methylprednisolone
tabs plus Actemra, about 10/2019. I've gotten near 10 twice and had vision issues, but by July 2020, I was on 20 mg daily. Hoorah!
