Continue teaching while on Ibrance?
I am 48 and will be starting Ibrance and Faslodex soon. During IV chemo in 2017, I was able to keep working as a high school teacher with only one trip to the hospital for a fever after the first round of six. I am wondering if I will have to be more cautious when on Ibrance (or oral chemo in generel

ANASTROZOLE 1 MG TABLET
Has anyone tried this as alternative to Letrozole; my joint pain is debilitating at times (typically the week off Ibrance)? My ONC said there is another one to try before opting for the once monthly shots (I forget the name of that)? Also some talk of brain fog due to lack of estrogen I think—does that

Oncologist gave bad news about the cancer
We were just told that despite two treatments of jevtana the liver
metastasis
has enlarged. My dad got an ultrasound today which was compared to an Axumin scan at the end of July, and the liver spots are much larger some three times as much.

Contemplating switching from Femara to Anastrazole
Hi! Afraid of change, per usual. Anyone make this change previously? The reason my oncologist suggested it was the side effects of letrozole (maybe Ibrance too) @ times put me down-as I feel like day after car accident feels or I’m 80-90 years old. My reluctance to change is for following reasons: 1

Hoping for the best.
Just three years ago, I had small stage 1 cancer followed by lumpectomy and radiation. All was done so it would not return. About six months ago, it was back and crazy. I'm now taking Ibrance and Anastrozole. It has been difficult, but fortunately, I'm tolerating the medication quite well. Now the

Great news and busy times
Sorry it has been a while since I posted but lots has been happening. On May 30 I had a bilateral mastectomy. July 8 I had to go back in because the right tissue expander had staph infection. On August 2 teachers started back to work in classrooms and kids started the 12. On Aug. 17 I got the results

Active treatment (surgery, radiation) vs Active Monitoring?
There are differences with % of disease progression and
metastasis
, but they're not huge differences. And of course surgery or radiation have their own risks and side effects.
