Your thoughts - treatment plan
A bone scan showed no bone
metastasis
. I have excluded surgery as an option - don't feel I need an invasive treatment given available options. I had a consultation with Dr Tracy Ng regarding seeds and radiation. He can even do a high dose radiation treatment akin the Cyberknife or MSK Precise.

Afinator and Exemestane
Results from PET scan yesterday shows 2 of 3 tumors have grown and uptake is brighter. Oncologist has taken me off ibrance and faslodex after 18 months. Starting Afinator and Exemestane. Been reading about the side effects and they look horrible. Would like to hear others experience on these drugs. Oncologist

Ibrance Fatigue help
This is my first time ever posting anything like this, but I am looking to the breast cancer community for advice. I am on letrozole and ibrance and seem to have overwhelming fatigue as I approach day 21. I work full time and have a kindergartner. I count my blessings daily. Has anyone found any relief

Circulating Tumor Cells in Men Who Have Undergone Prostatectomy for Localized, High-Risk Prostate Cancer
Purpose: Approximately 15% of men with newly diagnosed prostate cancer have high risk features which increase the risk of recurrence and
metastasis
. Better predictive biomarkers could allow for earlier detection of biochemical recurrence and change surveillance and adjuvant treatment paradigms.

Good news on scans!
Hi Everyone, I have really been enjoying reading your supportive posts and updates. This is such a great community. I had scans last month as a follow-up to scans in late May when I was originally diagnosed with metastatic disease. This is a recurrence from my original diagnosis in 2002 when I had

Update On My Metastatic Prostate Cancer
In 2018, PET scan and lymph node biopsy confirmed
metastasis
of my prostate cancer to many lymph nodes, originally diagnosed as low volume Gleason 3 + 3 in 2011 and treated with brachytherapy in 2011 followed by Cyberknife and ADT for an extra-capsular recurrence in 2016-2017.

No more active surveillance for me
But the area of my prostate ca and the one genomic test result that I was at high risk for
metastasis
sent me to whole gland therapy. I spent quite a long time going back and forth between HDR brachytherapy and finally settled on the 5 course SBRT at UCLA with Dr. Chris King.

Anyone out there with recurrent non-metastatic breast cancer?
Hi everyone, I'm new here and I hope you can help me. I was first diagnosed in 2009 with stage 2 IDC(invasive ductal carcinoma) in my right breast. Had a lumpectomy, chemo (ACT) and 6 weeks of radiation. In March 2013, I found another lump in the same breast. Had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction
