Great news and busy times

Sorry it has been a while since I posted but lots has been happening. On May 30 I had a bilateral mastectomy. July 8 I had to go back in because the right tissue expander had staph infection. On August 2 teachers started back to work in classrooms and kids started the 12. On Aug. 17 I got the results of my PET and ....... no active cancer cells! Praise God! And on September 19 we will be home owners! On October 9 I go back to surgery to have the right tissue expander put back in. Even though all of this has been hard, God has been so good and pouring out so many blessings. May God bless you all and give us all strength to continue the fight. Be strong, fight, and be blessed.

Congrats on the scans! Enjoy the house! And hope the next surgery is successful with no infections! I chose no reconstruction after being told I wouldn’t have clear margins. But God I did. But I’m just using a prosthetic. I’ve named her Priscilla...🎊 They left 2-3 inches on top so I have cleavage 🙈...But they got the cancer out so that’s the best thing!

-Many blessings and prayers for continued good health!
