Med change....again

Hello warriors,

Mom has been on Ibrance with letrozole, then Faslodex, now Xeloda and is being switched to Piqray. Has anyone taken Piqray? Share your experience please.

I was also on Ibrance and Faslodex which worked well for a year until it spread to my liver. Then I moved to Xoleda then 7 rounds of Taxol both of which did nothing. After a dose of AC chemo which was awful but effective I started on Piqray combined with Tamoxifen. After less than 3 months I’ve had a reduction in all my tumours with little or no side effects. I’ve definitely lost hair but that could’ve been the AC. It’s hard to tell where one thing ends and another begins! I also have monthly Demonsunab and Zoladex injections.

PIQRAY is very new so I’ve only heard from one other person who’s used it and it did nothing for them sadly. So as ever it’s down to the individual response. I hope it works for her.

I have just started Piqray -2weeks in- after 8 mos on Ibrance Letrozole. So far so good. The side effects are not too bad for me. I’ve had some nausea and dizziness the first few days worse than now.
