I have really been enjoying reading your supportive posts and updates. This is such a great community.
I had scans last month as a follow-up to scans in late May when I was originally diagnosed with metastatic disease. This is a recurrence from my original diagnosis in 2002 when I had chemo, radiation, and surgery to resolve my original diagnosis of Inflammatory Breast Cancer. The scans all show resolution of any "spots" or decrease in size. There are only a couple of new spots, but they are now measuring them in mm rather than cm. All good news! Involvement is in bones, liver, lymph nodes, and lungs, but everywhere it is looking much better.
I am currently on Verzenio (150 mg. twice a day), Faslodex and Zoladex, (monthly). They seem to be working!

I get my scan results tomorrow and I’m scared...had SABR radiotherapy for a liver lesion that had progressed so I’m very worried...most of my lesions are bones plus a few pleural nodules
Like you mine came back after many years..24 yrs...it was an awful shock as you know!
Will be thinking of you tomorrow Barb ! ...Keep busy today ...go see a nice movie ( Have you seen Downton Abbey yet ? ) or get out for some fresh air while the weather’s good . x
Glad you are feeling a bit better after a swim ! I would like to see “ Judy” too ...husband wants to see “ The Joker” but looks a bit too scary for me , but daughter has seen it at uni and said it’s an excellent film ?!! x
That is very good news! You seem to be responding very well to treatment. Let's hope you continue in like manner for many more years to come. Thanks so much for sharing your good news.
How are you handling the 150 mg. of Verzenio. After stopping the Ibrance, my onco put me on that 2x a day. Omg. I could not handle the severe bouts of diarrhea and felt housebound and felt awful. I stopped it on my own after a week thinking I am not going to take something that makes me unable to leave my house. She lowered it to 100 mg. and I have the stomach pain and again the severe diarrhea and again I stopped after a week. She then gave me the lowest dosage and that was the trick. I do not get as fatigued as I did on Ibrance which was awful for me. I know how I am going to feel every day basically. With Ibrance, I never knew until I woke up. And on the lower dosage, I am more able to manage between the diarrhea and constipation so I have feel much better on the lowest dose.
I know we are all different, just wondering how the side effects of the 150 mgs. were for you. i could not handle it.
Thanks for the response. I am doing OK on the Verzenio. It does cause wicked diarrhea, but I have been chronic with the opposite for years, so this is almost something of a relief! Mine usually occurs in the evening, so it is tolerable. It started a couple of weeks after the treatment began. I use one dose of Loperamide Hydrochloride immediately, and that always does the trick. It's funny---the Verzenio people actually sent a box of it with my start-up kit! As long as you can get this inconvenience on a schedule, it is easier to handle.
Now, to you and all others----PLEASE do not stop taking any medicine without first consulting with your doc. Would you rather see progression of your disease (or worse)? I think not. Most onc docs will get back to you, or at least have a nurse get back to you, fairly quickly. Call them first to discuss.
