Xeloda increase in cancer markers
Would it be normal to have increase in cancer markers when you first start xeloda? Just finished second cycle and markers have increased by 10 each time. Oncologist says don't stress because dealing with alot of hand foot syndrome. Scans in two weeks 🙏

Piqray or Xeloda? What were your experience?
Hi everyone. Unfortunately my scans show progression w/ new bone lesions. Good news is my mets are still all in bones. I now have to choose my next treatment by next week: Piqray + Faslodex or Xeloda. Here are my thoughts: Piqray cons: horrible, side effects. Could cause diabetes and terrible rash

Piqray failed after 3 months, on to Xeloda
Hi, I really wanted Piqray to work. I took all the diarrhea and high blood sugar for the past 3 months. But the latest CT scan showed Liver Tumors increased in size and number. So, I'm on to Xeloda. Does anyone have advice or feedback on Xeloda? what to expect, tips, success stories? Thanks, Karina

I wrote about waiting to hear from the Mayo Clinic to see if I should continue with Ibrance. My oncologist and Mayo Clinic agreed that I should only continue taking Letrozole for 10 years and not Ibrance. I had left breast cancer in 2009 did Chemo and was on Letrozole for 5 years. It was three

How to stop weight loss?
Hello. For the past 2-3 months I've been having trouble maintaining weight. It has dropped as low as 104. I should be around 115-120 for my height. I am vegan, don't drink, and am trying to shove in the calories. I've also experienced some stomach upset (mild nausea) that makes eating unappealing. I've

Skin metastasis? UPDATE
So, GP and CT scan confirm that the skin nodule at laparoscopy port site is
metastasis
and with other ‘small changes’ my oncologist has given me the option of weekly taxol starting next week. As I only finished second line Carbo/ Caelyx in March I am now deemed platinum resistant.

Where to next?
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with ER+ MBC in the bones in 2017. Since then I have been on hormone treatment moving to Xeloda Chemo for 18 months and 3 months ago I was moved on to Kisqali (Ribociclib) and Faslodex Injections. From a test done from my original surgery in 2016 I also know that my cancer

HER2- changed to HER2+
Hello breasties, So, the first treatment of MBC which was Ibrance and Letrozole stopped working after just a few short months. My oncologist is now suggesting Faslodex only as a next treatment. He also told me that my cancer went from being HER2 negative to HER2 positive. Has this happened to any of

Fulvestrant and Denosumab
Fulvestrant! Does anyone take this with Denosumab? Would be greatful to know how it has worked for other people? My mum has been down hill from April since we found out tumors had grown with a year on palbociclib and letrozole they switched her to tamoxifen during lockdown and further scans showed progression

Skin metastasis?
Has anyone had experience of skin
metastasis
with ovarian cancer? I have a newly- appeared (6weeks) raised red nodule next to a 2 year old laparoscopy scar, with a sub cutaneous hard lump underneath. I am due a CT scan on Monday, and will speak to the oncologist when those results are in.

2 Doctors said, “unheard of”, while smiling from ear to ear!
I have been taking Ibrance and letrozole for 28 months now for metastatic breast cancer. When diagnosed, it was already in breast, lymph nodes, liver, lung, and vertebrae. A few weeks ago, I had a CT Scan. The only cancer showing was a couple spots in vertebrae...all other places were unremarkable...

Letrozole, sense of taste/smell?
I have been taking letrozole for a week now and noticed over the last few days that I sometimes have what I would describe as a chemically taste in my mouth and if I sniff I can smell it too. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm on herceptin and perjeta infusions also and finished taxotere chemo 3
