May I consult with you all for advice on how to manage or relieve the stiffness in joints due to cancer treatment please?
It's been over a month now since I started my new regimen Zoladex + Fulvestrant and Piqray in October. After two rounds of Zoladex and Fulvestrant shots, I feel that my body just aged for 20 more years. My skin, eyes and everything get dried out and my joints especially knees are extremely stiff. Now I cannot stand straight for 15 minutes or walk for 30 minutes without sitting down for rest. I hear crack sound every time when I bend. I used to be pretty flexible and now I am as stiff as a stick π
Do you have any recommendations or suggestions that you could share with me about this? I have heard a lot of people using CBD oils or creams for arthritis. Do you think perhaps that I should try CBD? Has any of you had a positive experience using CBD for this type of symptom? I would be extremely grateful if there are any insights, tips or recommendations that you could kindly share with me about this!
Thank you all so much in advance!!
With love & gratitude,
April

Hi! I used a cbd topical salve when I was having back issues-pre-cancer. I have used it a few times since being dx'd and taking Letrozole and Ibrance combo. I did find some relief when I used it. My husband and all his golfing buddies use it also for their ailments and that is how I learned of it. π I buy it at a local cbd shop. Blessings!
hi Hope- just writing as I am on recently put on lupron ( competitor to zoladex) and after faslodex went on aromasin ( cousin to letrozole) And I feel like the Tim man in need of oil.. I may squeak and seize up from tiredness! I think the gummies with THC may help. So tired!
Phase IIb Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Dose-Escalating, Double-Blind Study of Cannabidiol Oil for the Relief of Symptoms in Advanced Cancer (MedCan1-CBD)
CBD cream works pretty fast but I don't get any relief with the oil.. I just buy Hempvana cream at the drug store. The oil has to be kept in the refrigerator so it isn't as convenient.
